1960s hardbox issue. Can be built wheels up or down and comes with full, nicely done TWA decals and a display stand. Very fine raised panel detail. Box artwork is by Tom Morgan, who did most if not all of this issue of the Lindberg small airliners. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.

Factory sealed. The box is in investment-grade "Near Mint" condition. The seal is 100% intact but there is a closed split or cut in the middle. Dated 1960 and the first issue with this artwork. Note the 79 cent price extension and "Famous Fighters" in the border of the oval sunburst logo, which is unique to the 1960 release.

Early issue from 1957. This release has the the Parents' Magazine seal on the lower left of the box art. Molded in the correct gloss light gray and black. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Even includes the original factory tissue paper. This is part of the famous Aurora WWI series of 1/48 scale aircraft. The series began in 1956 and Aurora added new kits into the early 1960s. The line proved incredibly popular so many of these kits were included in the 'mold upgrade' in the 1970s before Aurora went out of business in '76.

Large scale, well molded and detailed Zero featuring incredibly fine raised and also recessed surface detail, full cockpit, optional opened or closed canopy, highly detailed engine (a small kit on it's own), optional position wing flaps and landing gear, drop tank and pilot figure. Includes at least 4 different aircraft decal markings - for a night fighter, A6M2 and A6M5C. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.

First release dated 1979 with the highest mold quality. Features full interior detail and the left fuselage half molded in clear. Molded in olive drab, clear and black. The clear fuselage side is in amazing 'Near Mint' condition and is properly protected for shipping. Never started. The model has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Large and well detailed kit. Unusual box art issue showing a Mavis wandering into the very middle of a South Pacific Carrier battle. Features very good cockpit detail, moving control surfaces, beaching gear and a large, sturdy display stand for an 'in flight' version. Never started. First issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo. This logo only appeared for one year. In 1957 it was replaced with the famous oval 'Famous Fighters' Sunburst logo. The artwork is by Jim Cox. This kit was one of a very famous line of 1/48 scale WWI aircraft kits introduced by Aurora at this time. Due to the popularity, subjects were still being released into the 1960s. Molded in glossy olive green and black. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Rare. Factory sealed and in amazing 'near mint' condition. This is the card mounted version of the early 1960s 'Custom Car Parts' Bumpers and Grills. All parts are chrome plated and the instructions are on the reverse of the card. The other issue of this was the same part number and title but packed in a very narrow cardboard box with a clear cello window so you could see the parts.
