Esoteric Navy Northrop BT-1, 1/72, NAF-16

Vacuform Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed

$22

The BT-1 was the first Northrop aircraft for the US navy. John Northrop had just formed his aircraft company in 1929, and back then a government contract was the best way to stay in the business. The BT-1 was a scaled down Army A-17. 54 were produced, and the aircraft resulted in the creation of the famous SBD Dauntless dive bomber by Douglas when they acquired Northrop. Still factory sealed. Very high quality kit with metal parts and full decals. Esoteric kits were perhaps the finest vacuform kits made. The molding quality rivaled or surpassed most injection molded kits. Includes full interior detail. Complete and never started.

Adams Honest John Rocket with Launcher and Truck, 1/40, K150-198

$325

First issue from the late 1950s in amazing investment-grade 'Near Mint+' condition and fantastic box artwork. The box top has factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, no fading, holes or litho tears, no price tags or marks from them, no tape or tape marks (other than the original factory sealing tape), no creasing and no dishing. The only flaw is very slight edge wear. Very highly detailed with many working features. Missile can be removed or installed for launch or transport. Launcher/truck can be configured for travel or launch, and the launching boom can be elevated and rotated. Features completely detailed suspension and chassis, complete interior, crew of 5 and more. Nichimo Focke Wulf FW-190 A-5 - (FW190A5), 1/65

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good+

$26

Early 1960s kit with very collectible high-gloss box and artwork. Features working ailerons and rudder, rotating wheels, retractable landing gear, rotating prop, clear ice blue display stand and color decals. The model as never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Please NOTE: the instructions show a pilot's step; however, there is no part number, no place or hole on the fuselage for it and no sign of it or even an empty tree spot. I assume that it was an factory error, as even the text instructions cover a large number of kits and are completely non-specific.

Airfix NA-39 Blackburn Buccaneer - Craftmaster Issue, 1/72, 1404-100

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Fair+

$24

Sale Pending
Email for availability.

One of the more dramatic Craftmaster boxes. A British carrier launches heavily battle-damaged Buccaneers with enemy ships within visual range. Other Buccaneers are taking heavy and accurate fire from the enemy, while one ship is engulfed in flames. Propeller driven aircraft fall burning from the sky. The Buccaneer was the world's first purpose designed low level 'below the radar' bomber. Low level strike aircraft have a shorter airframe life limit due to the stresses of low level flying, so the Buccaneer was designed to be very strong and even had many sub-assemblies milled from solid metal. Kit features opening unique rotating bomb bay, folding wings and working arresting hook. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
