1960 issue of the rare "Whip Fly" series. Hardbox artwork for this series was the 'action' photos by Tom Kelly. Whip-Fly kits contain the aircraft model with nose ballast, a metal control ring, 12 feet of control line and a control handle- and in this case, colored plastic streamers. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The back of the instructions gives the user important tips about whip flying and a paragraph on calculating 'How Fast Will It Go?' The long side of the box shows the complete Whip-Fly series with the action box art. Included are H151 F9F-8 Cougar, H152 F-84F, H153 F-89D Scorpion, H154 F8U-1 Crusader, H155 F-39 Airacobra and H156 F-101A Voodoo. Although not listed yet, there was also a Whip-Fly Canberra, F-106 and Yak-25 Flashlight. The Whip-Fly series seemed like a good idea...at first. Revell quickly realized that spinning heavily-ballasted, sharp objects at dizzying speeds in or outside the home near groups of children was not the best idea. The series was quickly discontinued.

Rare. 1961 issue in the Whip Fly 'Master Modeler' series. Does include the Master Modeler Trading Stamp (for the Competition Corvette) and MM application form. This series was quickly discontinued when it discovered that heavily weighted models with pointed front ends swinging at terrific speeds around young children might not be safe. Based on the 1950s F-106 "S" kit, the Delta Dart Whip Fly comes with USAF decals, flight ballast, handle, 12 feet of control line, control ring, colorful streamers (cut from the colored bag according to the instructions) for the jet engines and a underside pod which is a in-flight whistle! Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed and rare in this condition. This 1983 first issue has the finest mold quality since it was near the start of the production run. Still factory sealed and from 1978. This is the once-legendary 1/72 Vulcan 'V' Bomber from Nova Models. It is a very good vacuformed kit with full size plans and decals by Micro Scale. Please note that vacuform kits are for experienced model builders only. Certain scratch building skills are required as well as a well-stocked spare parts box. Novo Models was a division of the very famous Archer's Products, which was part of Archer's Hobby World. Archer's Hobby World was a distributor of plastic models including (what was then) very exotic subjects which were only available in vacuform.

Very rare. Special issue of the Dodgers Team Aircraft made by Revell just for the concessions dealer 'Danny Goodman' for the LA Dodgers, Inc. I purchased this kit along with the Revell factory shipping carton. This carton was originally sold to Union 76 Service Station #3459, located at 12080 Ventura Blvd in Studio City California. The case was shipped directly from Revell in Los Angeles to the Union Oil Station; the gas station owner's son confirmed this. (Somehow Danny Goodman was bypassed in the transaction!). The kit is fresh from the original shipping carton with no more wear than you would expect. The box is in investment grade 'near mint' condition with the only flaws being some yellowing and light wear on the paper label. Inside, the kit is factory new. All parts, decals and instructions are still sealed in the Revell factory bag. The kit includes a wonderful photo of the 1963 Dodgers - World's Champions!
