This is a basic but very cleanly molded. Includes white plastic main parts and a clear canopy (mint condition and not yellowed). Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions (which are on the unfolded paper header. The M39B was a flying scale model of a possible medium bomber. It was of unorthodox configuration and offered several advantages over more 'normal' designs. Powered by two Gypsy Major engines of 140 hp each, the M39b was first flown in 1943. Unlike it's predecessor, it proved to be a very successful and stable aircraft. Certain modeling skills are required to build vacuform kits. Scratch building is required. Not recommended for beginners.

LV917-C was a Halifax operated by 158 Squadron that completed 100 operational missions and survived the war. Only one other Halifax had more missions, 'LV917-E 'Friday the Thirteenth', also of 158. hard-to-find 1960s issue of this classic model. The Bristol Superfreighter was an improved version of the Bristol Freighter. It was designed in 1952 and entered service in 1953 with Silver City Airways. Superfreighter's ease of maintenance, rugged design and ability to carry large loads made it immediately successful with the RAF and eight other air forces around the worlds, as well as with several airlines. Channel Air Bridge even operated a car ferry service across the channel. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Grom the 1960s. Wide 'White' box issue with white side panels and action-packed artwork showing part of a box formation of B-24s at the moment of "Bombs Away!" Guns blaze at attacking fighters while flak burst close in. One B-24 is going down with the starboard wing in flames. This was a well detailed kit for that time. Guns elevate and turrets move, ailerons, elevators and rudders move, the landing gear retracts and extends, props rotate, has 'good' cockpit detail, a crew of 8 and optional position crew entry door and ladder. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
