1979 Revell 'Advent' issue. From the same molds as the famous Revell Lancaster Dam Busters model. Kit has moveable control surfaces, special bomb, retractable landing gear and full crew. The model has never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The Dam Busters squadron was famous for it's daring raids on three German dams on May 16, 1943. Carrying the special Barnes Wallis-designed bombs, the Lancasters flew very low over the water in the face of heavy flak to drop the rotating bombs perfectly. Many did not return. The bombs did perform as promised, first skipping over the water, hitting the dam, then rolling down 30 feet before exploding with tremendous force. In an airburst, these bombs would not have damaged the dams, but since water is incompressible, the dams were breached.

Dated 1961. Rare kit of the Arizona's sister ship. Very nicely detailed and well molded full hull kit. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts including decals and instructions. The Pennsylvania was in dry-dock during the December 7th Pearl Harbor attack and survived with minimal damage. She was rebuilt and saw significant action in the Pacific in WWII, steaming over 150,000 miles from 1941 to 1945. It is thought that she may have fired more ammunition than any ship in history. She never once reported 'Not Ready' for any operation or need. After being used as a nuclear test ship at Bikini, she was towed to Kwajalein and sunk.

Resin conversion kit to make a Revell or Monogram 1/48 F-105D into the Thunderstick II Conversion. Accuracy issues with the AN/ARN-85 LORAN lead to some F-105Ds being upgraded. The refit to the AN/ARN-92 created a long dorsal spine. These 30 modified aircraft were called Thunderstick II aircraft. The modification allowed the F-105 to achieve a bombing CEP (circular error probable) of 50 feet from 15,000 feet high. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.
