From the 1940s and measures 7.75 inches long when assembled. This is a very nice and prefabricated wooden kit featuring all cut out parts, fully formed wheels including spare tire, completely finished interior seats, numerous other parts cut to shape, metal detail parts and more. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes full multi-view plans with construction notes and additional drawings to aid assembly. RedYCut was well known for their wooden kits with a high degree of precise prefabrication. The model line was quite large and this list includes just a few of them: Sport Jeep, US Amphibian Jeep, Speed Boat With Trailer, Station Wagon, US Army Jeep, US Army Trailer, Motorcycle, US Army Tank Gun, Midget Racer and Midget Racer plus transport trailer.

Rare, early AMT 3 In 1 Customizing Kit. The original hardbox has great color, very good gloss four solid corners and no tape tears or price tags. NOTE: decals have some flaking. NOTE: many of the original black plastic parts have tire burns. I have also included non-burned gloss gray parts to replace the black ones just in case you wish to build the kit. 2004 issue from the original 1950s 'S' kit. Very well detailed kit with 83 parts. Features one piece hull, detailed deck and superstructure, 12.5cm cannon, 20mm twin anti-aircraft guns, life rafts, detailed masts, cargo booms, 15 very nicely molded landing craft, flag sheet and decals for the Montrose, Randall and full markings for the landing craft. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The USS Montrose was on of 57 Haskell Class Attack Transports built for service in and immediately after WWII. The ships were designed to carry troops close to the beachheads, transfer them to landing barges (carried on board) and to supervise the landing operations. Her length was 455 feet and she could handle 1,560 troops and carry 3000 tons of equipment.
