This is the military version of this unique aircraft which was originally used as an airline transport. Originally powered by two 600 hp diesel engines, the Ju-86 was first used in the Spanish Civil War. The diesels were unsuitable for combat and replaced by conventional BWM 132 radials, which was the start of the more successful 'E' variant. This Ju-86 continued to see limited use in WWII on many fronts and in service to several countries. The ultimate developments of this aircraft were the Ju-86P-1 and P-2. P-2s few at up to 49,000 feet and Ju-86R reached an operational ceiling of 52,200 feet. The model features 129 pieces, very good cockpit, four crew members, rotating propellers, optional position landing gear and more. Includes paint guide and decals for Hungarian and two Luftwaffe versions: Neubrandenburg 1940 and Stalingrad 1942. The SM-79 was considered an excellent aircraft and one of the best land based torpedo bombers of the war. Designed and serving as an airliner from 1934 onward, 100 were supplied to the Nationalist Air Force for the Spanish Civil War where they served as day and night bombers. The aircraft performed well in the Med and against Malta, sinking many allied ships. This nicely detailed late 1960s/early 1970s model features moving rudder, elevator and ailerons, cockpit detail and torpedo loadout. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Decals are in rare 'near mint' condition which is unusual for these kits. This kit is from quality Airfix molds and is one of the MPC issues with standard & custom decals, standard propellers or clear 'in flight' prop discs and the unique clear modular display stand. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s. Note that this issue still has 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models.

Wonderful kit from the 1950s and that is 10 inches long when assembled. StromBecker was famous for this line of precarved hardwood and plastic kits. This model is made of quality Western Pine hardwood, not balsa. The carving is done to the final shape and when completed it makes an impressive desk top display. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and plans present. The box is only 'fair' - there is heavy wear, writing as shown on the box top and all of the end panels are missing on the left side.

Rare 1964 complete slot car issue that features monocoque chassis with a low, slim profile, high speed Tiger Super X-100 Motor with special windings for extra power and rapid acceleration, brass frame with swing pickup and adjustable wheel base, lower center of gravity, precision machines aluminum wheels, nylon guide, braided wire brushes, new wider rear tires, decals and more. No part of the car has never been run; however, brass threaded inserts and lower bumper are assembled to the body shell and the chassis & wheels have been very neatly adult built as shown to 'near mint/professional' quality. Again, nothing has been run. Nothing is broken or repaired; it is in superb physical condition. The model has been inventoried and NOTE: missing 1/2 of the optional driver's head. This large-scale George is from quality Marusan molds and the box art is by the famous graphic artist Scott Eidson, who did many of the famous Revell paintings and almost all of the UPC boxes. The kit is well molded and features moving ailerons, elevators, rudder & trailing edge flaps, retractable landing gear, 'good' cockpit, pilot figure, rotating propeller & wheels, drop tank and more. The model as never been started. The smaller parts are still in the factory sealed bag; the larger parts have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.
