Rare 1950s kit for the advanced collector. This kit was issued after the demise of O-Lin, possibly in the 2nd or 3rd year that Paul Lindberg decided to go at it alone. This is the second part number used (400-29) and this became the standardized Lindberg system from here on out. Molded in gloss silver. The kit has never been started and is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Life-Like Barbary Pirate Felucca Sailing Ship - (ex Pyro), 09312

Older but excellent kit from ex-Pyro molds. Full hull model measures about 5 inches long when assembled and features detailed wood-grain hull and decks, separately molded cannon, ships boat, lanterns, anchor, oars, masts, billowing sails and more. Includes a display stand and name plate. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing one small cannon; otherwise complete with all other parts and instructions. Barbary Pirate ships were the scourge of the Mediterranean Sea for nearly 400 years and played an important roll in the early American Navy battles. Although classed as pirate ships, the Felucca crews considered themselves to be properly commissioned men-of-war who were rovers and fighters.

The visual effect of the SAC 'Anti-Nuclear Flash White' is shown well in the box art of thie 1973 issue. Very nicely detailed and contains 207 parts. Features a crew of three, detailed cockpit, elevating and traversing rear turret, opening and closing bomb bay doors, operating wing flaps, operating spoilers, optional position entry hatch and landing gear, optional parts to display one nacelle open to show the jet engine and more. Includes decals for SAC or camo versions. The kit has never been started. Most parts are still in the factory sealed bags; the parts not sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: the decals are flat and intact but there is some age foxing (brown stains) on the lower 1/4 of the decal sheet.

Features detailed engine, opening hood, many chrome plated parts, detailed suspension and exhaust, full interior, clear windows, optional soft top and scale positionable figure. Also includes a full color racing scene backdrop with holders. Never started. All the parts that were factory sealed are still sealed; the parts that were not (clear and chrome) have been inventoried complete. With instructions and decals. The decals are flat and 100% intact but NOTE: they have typical age micro-cracking. The instructions have very slight bug damage.

This large-scale kit is very well detailed and designed for motorized operation - even the Mabuchi FA-130 motor is included in the original Mabuchi box, which is rare. Can be made R/C with today's small components. The model features complete deck fittings, removable torpedo magazine covers with torpedoes inside, rotating deck gun, hand rails and five crew members. Includes all hardware for motorizing. Molded in two colors, red and gray. The kit has never been started. MPM Republic XP-47H Super Thunderbolt, 1/72, 72017

Rare and still the only injection molded kit ever made of this aircraft in 1/72 scale. Features fine, recessed panel line detail. Never started. Factory sealed bag complete with decals and instructions. This is the 16-cylinder, 490 mph Super Thunderbolt. This radical craft was designed to test the Chrysler XIV-2220-1 liquid-cooled inverted 'V-16' engine. Two P-47D airframes were set aside for modification by Republic at Evansville under subcontract to Chrysler. The airframe was redesigned from the firewall forward and under the belly from the nose to the radiator to a point aft of the rear gas tank. A GE CH5 Turbo Supercharger was installed in the lower rear fuselage. Final drive was through a 14 foot diameter Curtiss propeller. Many problems were encountered with the engine, so the aircraft did not fly till after the war in Europe on July 26th, 1945. Twenty-seven test flights were made including one at 30,000 ft that reached 490 mph.

Early issue dated 1960 of the Cutty Sark's famous competitor. Beautiful box art painting by John Steel. It includes the hull molded in green and factory painted copper below the waterline. The factory paint is in 'excellent++' condition. The other parts molded in light gray, wood brown and black. Highly detailed and measures 36 inches long when built. Includes sheets of billowing vac sails, complete running and standing rigging instructions, preformed ratlines, metal chains, all rigging material and instructions, flags and decals. It has never been started. Some parts are still in the factory sealed bags; those that are not have been inventoried complete. Includes all paperwork, assembly instructions and rigging instructions with diagrams. NOTE: the original adult owner cut the large sail sheets in half to protect the sails. That way the were easier to keep in good condition. As a result, the sails are in 'very good++' condition, which is well above average. Please note that the box is only 'good-' but displays 'ok' as shown. It is not in 'collectible' condition.

1964 issue with fantastic framable box art by John Steel. This is an early issue that has the factory painted copper hull below the waterline. Large and highly detailed model measures 36 inches long and 22 inches high when assembled. Features 20 crew members, full deck details, preformed rat lines, decals, flag sheet and excellent instructions for assembly and rigging. Includes all required rigging thread, blocks and chain. The kit is molded in black, dark brown and ivory/white. There is no assembly but NOTE: one hull has the copper paint weathered below the waterline. There is no other painting. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals, building instructions and rigging diagrams. Includes instructions and special booklet 'The Cutty Sark And The Days Of Sail.'

Very rare, early 1960s issue in big 1/550 scale from Fujimi Mokei Company Limited. Features very collectible glossy box artwork in a large box. This model represents Hiei in all 'all big gun' configuration before she was converted to a hybrid aircraft carrier. This kit is designed to be a scale model for water operation. It features an RE-26 electric motor, steel,brass & nylon gearbox that drives two propellers, battery contacts, universal joints, switch, wiring, metal propeller shafts, propeller stuffing boxes, on/off function by turning one of the main turrets, lower hull correctly molded in 'IJN Hull Red', detailed superstructure, separately molded secondary casemate guns and turrets, rangefinders, fire control, spotlights, catapult and aircraft and more. The parts above the waterline are molded in gray and black plastic. Never started. All parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the electric motor and running hardware bags have the Fujimi Mokei paper headers while the others never had them. Includes large, fold-out instructions. The box would grade slightly higher than 'excellent' but is rated as such because there is some clear tape on the sides and a small tape tear (1.5" x 3/8") on the left short side.

This kit is fully motorized and includes a factory-bagged Mabuchi electric motor and steel hardware. Molded in gray, green and tan. Below the waterline has been factory painted 'hull red.' This paint is in 'near mint' condition. Comes with an air group for the flight deck. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in internal factory sealed bags. Dated 1957 with classic Jo Kotula box art. This is the edition with the Parent's Magazine approval seal on the box. The box is in 'very good++' condition with like new color and gloss, four solid corners and no tape or price tags. Flaws include general shelf wear as shown, a very light stain by the word 'Assembly' and another light stain on one side (the top long panel, lower part). Molded in the correct glossy dark olive drab, black and clear plastic. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
