1974 issue from original Aurora molds. When Aurora's demise seemed sure, a group of Aurora employees split and founded Addar. The Planet of the Apes kits gave them some early issues due to their connection with Aurora. However, they were out of business by 1976. Since this is an original Aurora mold, it is of very high quality and includes the tree house shown on the front. Never started. The 1986 Chevrolet Corvette Indy concept car was a mid engine vehicle designed not only for great looks but great performance also. Unfortunately the car never made it production, but it was probably not intended to be anything beyond a technology test bed and a great piece of advertising. Kit features opening hood and detailed V8 engine, complete interior, low-profile rotating tires and decals. Molded in gloss red, clear and chrome plate. This kit was issued in 1989 and is still factory sealed.

Unusual AMT issue from the Hasegawa molds. With markings and paint guide for camo version. From Steve Payne and Wiki - The U.S. Navy experimented with aircraft camouflage and painted half of the aircraft of CVW-11 with dark green colours to blend in with the Vietnamese jungle. The results proved inconclusive for the U.S. Navy, whereas the U.S. Air Force concluded that the camouflage was effective. U.S. Navy planes would not be camouflaged until the 1980s. Box art is of U.S. Navy North American RA-5C Vigilante aircraft (BuNo 150834) of Heavy Reconnaissance Squadron RVAH-13 Bats in flight over the Gulf of Tonkin. 150834 was one of three replacement aircraft for RVAH-13 on this deployment, as the squadron had lost three of its six aircraft. RVAH-13 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW-11) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63) for a deployment to Vietnam from 19 October 1965 to 13 June 1966.
