Mint sealed issue from 1967. Fantastic box artwork. CV-6 has a combat record unequalled in history of the US Navy and is considered the most Successful Warship in History. Her totals were as follows: 20 Battle Stars, 911 Aircraft Destroyed and 71 Ships Sunk. She took part in almost every major action of the Pacific war from 1941 to 1945. The fascinating history of this ship is told by Commander Edward P. Stafford, USN, in his legendary book "The Big E - The Story of the USS Enterprise." Kit is over 20 inches long and includes a one piece hull, SBD scout-bombers, moving cranes, decals and flags.

1964 issue of this classic kit. Possibly the second issue. Large and highly detailed. Measures 36 inches long and 22 inches high when assembled. This version also has the factory painted copper hull, which is still in near mint condition. Features 20 crew members, full deck details, decals, flag sheet, instructions for running rigging-standing rigging-ship assembly and billowing sails with all rigging thread and chain. Box is worn, but the kit is mint. All parts are still in factory sealed bags. This model builds to a very impressive display when complete.
