Rare larger-scale kit with very good detail for that time. This model is ideal for R/C conversion and includes the electric motor and all hardware for motorizing. It can be built as a static display model as well. Features one piece hull, detailed island structure, well detailed deck with molded in planking detail, lifeboats, four scale propellers and rudder for static display, Val dive bombers with separately molded landing gear and bombs, Kates with separately molded torpedo and Zeros with separate drop tanks, very large decal sheet with full deck markings and air group decals, display stand with brass plated pedestals and more. This is a unique aircraft with a great history. The aircraft was created by Arthur Sack in his private shop. Originally, he built and flew models with this wing configuration. He was successful after 6 years of testing, and he created the prototype from wood. As the plane neared completion, he ask for help from Luftwaffe ground units. The Luftwaffe tested the aircraft but had no success. The 'Flying Beertray' was destroyed during the retreat from the Brandis areas. This is a limited run model that Includes cast resin details
