From quality Marusan molds. Features full landing gear and clear canopy. When the nose probe is pulled, the canopy opens. The model as never been started. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.

Still factory sealed. From quality Frog molds. Well molded kit features separate ailerons, rudder and elevators. Box art is by the famous Jo Kotula who did 1930s covers for the magazine 'Model Airplane News' and later the Aurora box art of the late 1950s. Air Lines kits are all Frog molds that the Lines Brothers imported to the USA between 1964-1966. The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo. Some kits contain a Testors color painting guide also, but it is not specific to any model.

From high quality ex-Frog molds. Very nicely detailed large scale kit with 180 parts. The original Frog kit was issued as kit # 347P in 1961. Features full railings, complete deck fittings and pipes and decals. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The original Shell Welder was built in 1955 by Celland Ship Building Company for Shell-Mex & BP Marketing. She had a displacement of 1042 tons and carried a cargo of 550 tons of petroleum in four tanks. The main engines are six cylinder diesels of 570 BHP at 400 rpm. She was still afloat in 1989 and had been converted to a motor dredger/sand carrier with Northwood (Fareham Ltd) of London.

This is a HO scale craftsman kit from Alexander Scale Models. Alexander produced these superb kits well after the advent of 'ready to run' plastic trains. By the early 1970s (when this kit was issued), the vast majority of the 'Craftsman' kit producers had closed down. This kit is primarily high quality metal castings. There is no warpage. Features metal monitor roof, sides, ends, stairs and platforms, pre-shaped hand rails, brake wheels, roof vents and stack, bolsters, queenposts, pre-shaped truss rods, turnbuckles and real sprung metal trucks. There is a pre-cut and drilled wood floor. Includes full plans and instructions, along with two decal sheets for all the lines listed, as well as stripes, gold trim designs, enough letters and numbers for any line and two colorful US Eagles with shield decals. NOTE: the roof vents have been installed. Quality of construction is excellent - they are all straight, the same height and there is no visible adhesive. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.
