During the golden era of realistic train models, La Belle Woodworking Company created perhaps the very finest scale kits of early American passenger equipment. The kit features die cut hardwood parts (no balsa)such as completely pre-cut and prescribed wooden sides with all windows and doors factory cut, the same for the car ends, carved clerestory roof, green clerestory window material, working end diaphragms, underside details, metal details, building instructions and full size plans. I have seen these models built and they look identical to the real prototypes. The kit has not been started and is complete with all parts, sealed smaller details and plans + instructions.

Still factory sealed. The Heyford was the last big biplane bomber to serve with the RAF and equipped 11 First-Line Squadrons at the time. The prototype first few in 1930 and had many novel features such as retractable ventral turret and the wing attached to the underside of the top wing for excellent visibility. It was soon nicknamed 'Express Bomber' due to it's ability to carry a large bomb load, fly at high speeds and be rapidly re-armed, serviced and repaired. Has parts and decals for all three variants from 102(B) RAF Sq. 1938, No. 99 Sq 1934 and No. 7(B) Sq. 1935.

Rare first issue of this kit dated 1960. Large and highly detailed kit. Measures 36 inches long when built. Since this is the first issue, the model has the factory painted copper hull below the waterline. The factory paint is in excellent condition with minimal wear. Since this is a first edition it also contains the booklet about the Cutty Sark and a sheet 'From The Log Of The Cutty Sark'. Kit features highly detailed deck, deck houses, cargo holds and covers, masts, yards and booms, bilge pump, windlass, 20 crew figure, and lifeboats with oars, life preservers, anchors and anchor chains. Includes draftline and transom decals, figurehead, finely detailed hull, preformed ratlines and molded deadeyes, pin rails and blocks, full standing rigging instructions and diagrams, flag sheet, thread and chain for rigging. Molded in three colors - black, ivory/white and dark wood tan. The kit has never been started. All parts are still sealed in the factory internal bags. With decals and all instructions and paperwork.
