Bagged kit with no box. The box is shown for reference only. Perfect builder. This collector stored this and all of his kits in bags because of limited storage space. He was very precise; the canopy is bagged separate to prevent scratching, the small parts are in a zip lock for protection and then put into a larger sealed bag with the bigger parts and instructions. Decals are excellent. The instructions and decals are from 1967; however, the parts are gray plastic so they may be later. Features folding wings, rotating prop and wheels. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

George Barris served as the AMT consultant for the original kit and designed and built the 'Movie Car of the Year' for the movie Villa Riviera, using a '65 Riviera. Model includes numerous optional parts for suspension, motor, exterior and interior as well as two sheets of custom decals. Molded in yellow, clear and chrome with rubber tires. Never started. NOTE: missing (4) custom wire wheels and the (4) knockoffs that go on them. The other parts are still in factory sealed bags and inventoried otherwise complete with decals and instructions.

Special issue includes heavily-illustrated guidbook 'Battleship Mikasa' published by the Museum of Maritime Science. Superbly molded and detailed kit of this historic ship and one of the surviving pre-dreadnoughts. Full-hull model has 430 pieces. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Mikasa was the only ship of her class and took part in the Russo-Japanese war. In the late 1890s the Japanese shipyards were not quite yet ready for such a project, so the Navy contracted with Vickers in Great Britain to build this ship, which is actually a highly modified Formidable class. Mikasa saw a great amount of action at Port Arthur and the Battle of the Yellow Sea. She was preserved as a museum ship in 1923. Mikasa suffered from neglect during and after WWII, but was restored to her former glory in the 1950s after a campaign led by the Japan Times and Admiral Chester Nimitz. The Mikasa is the only surviving pre-dreadnought in the world.
