Bagged kit - no box. The box is shown for reference only. 1995 Reissue from the same molds as the popular 'Four Star' kit. Features retracting landing gear, rotating wheels/props, three man crew, optional position crew door and two survivors in a life raft. Molded in silver and with colorful USAF decals identical to the original issue. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam.

1977 issue. This model is a very early Revell issue shortly after the Renwal molds were purchased. Because of that, it is the only time that Revell issued the kit exactly as Renwal did. The model is motorized and features over 100 moving parts. It is molded in clear, red, black and silver. When built, all major internal parts move via electric motor and spark plugs (red lights) flash in time. This kit has never been started. Inside it is like new with all parts still in the factory sealed bags. Includes 'How An Automobile Engine Works' book (ex-Renwal book) and full instructions.

Very rare Rolls with a four door phaeton body. Pocher made the finest automobile models ever created. The detail and working parts on these long out-of-production kits is amazing. This kit has 2905 parts of plastic, brass, steel, leather, iron, rubber, copper and many more. Working features include the brake pedal which operates brakes on all four wheels, emergency brake lever which operates the rear brakes on rear independent system, operating steering, working suspension, lights that operate from the dashboard, doors that open and close with operating door latches and handles, windows that raise and lower via working cranks, the starting handle operates the crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, v-belts, fan, dynamo, etc in the engine, optional up or down convertible top, real spoke wheels and much more. The model has never started. All parts that were factory sealed in bags are still still in the factory sealed bags except three - small parts bags 524, 526 and 527. The parts from these three bags have been inventoried 100% complete. The very few parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instruction book. This kit has the most realistic but complex wheel construction. Each wheel consists of well over 100 parts with individual nipple and spoke placement.

First issue hardbox from 1962. This box has, in my opinion, some of the best Jack Leynnwood box art. Jack primarily did Revell artwork, but since he was freelance, he did others as well. At this point, the XB-70 was planned for production, so the kit is called the B-70 and the artwork shows a winter night-time quick turn around of a SAC B-70 while another Valkyrie roars overhead after takeoff. Very large kit with 6 detailed General Electric J93-3 engines, landing gear and clear canopy. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Big 1/12 scale model with a 35 inch wingspan. Originally designed as a gas powered model for free flight or control line, or can be converted to electric power and modern RC (radio control) gear. Features rubber wheels, covering material, clear windows, full size plans, formed wire parts, full size plans, die cut balsa and plywood parts and more. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Berkeley is a very famous manufacturer of flying model kits from the Golden Age of flying aviation, about 1932-1954. Founded in 1933 by William Effinger, the company was quite progressive in producing quality kits - it was likely the Berkeley 'Buccaneer' was the first gas powered model in kit form. In the later 1930s, Effinger acquired the services of a very talented Henry Struck. Struck went on to design numerous award-winning kits under the Berkeley name. Berkeley weathered the post WWII recession and emerged as a major kit producer in the late 1940 and 1950s. These were great years for Berkeley and they produced some incredible and large kits. The company went bankrupt in about 1960 however. Fox engines (Duke Fox) bought the company and released the kits alongside his own FOX models and engines. This arrangement did not last, and in the early 1960s the Berkeley name disappeared from hobby shop shelves.
