Unusual Aurora-Heller kit. One of Aurora's last efforts was to market quality Heller kits with the "Aurora-Heller" name. It was a good fit - Heller made quality kits but did not have the extreme marketing reach that Aurora had in North America. The kits could obviously be produced without a significant capital expense for Aurora since Heller had already cut the molds. Heller molded the kits in France, shipped them to the USA, and Aurora added instructions and a box. Although this was a good idea, Aurora's problems went much deeper and it certainly was not enough to save the company. This kit has not been started. Very nicely detailed with rigging instructions and decals for either aircraft. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Original hardbox issue dated 1956. Not the common reissue. Will build a stock Chrysler New Yorker or a wild custom with 78 customizing accessories such as turtle fins, mirrors, spotlights, hood scoops, side stacks, 'shark' fender fins, continental extension kit, antennas, 8 disc and bumper bullets, fender skirts and more. Molded in high-gloss black with chrome and clear parts. The kit has never been started. The parts have been inventoried complete. NOTE: the instructions are photocopies and the decals are missing. This original kit can be told from the reproduction by 1. Hardbox instead of soft box, 2. Gloss plastic instead of flat to semi-gloss and 3, the original issue contains a MotorTrend chromed two-piece 'trophy' that says "MotorTrend - Revell Project IDEA." This part was removed from all reissues for licensing reasons.

Early 1960s hardbox issue. Very well detailed and nicely molded kit. Features Chevy custom engine, removable hood, detailed underside, optional parts for all three versions and full interior. Molded in black, clear, chrome and with rubber tires. the kit has not been started. NOTE: The following parts are missing: Ford V-8 engine parts (Only the Chevy engine is present) two of four custom louvers and two chrome reverse wheels. Inventoried with all other parts, decals and instructions. Decals are 100% intact but have some damage from two tires sitting on them.

Original 3 in 1 issue hardbox. Kit is molded in black, clear and chrome plated plastic. NOTE: this kit is not mint. It has not been started, but the front glass is ruined - it is easily replaced as it is just flat stock. Also, the decals are all there but ruined. 5 of the chrome wheel 1/2s are missing but the rear reverse wheels are present. The standard engine block and intake are present, but the chromed block and intake are missing. The other parts are present and have not been assembled or glued.

Rare 1955 kit. The box is in exceptional 'Excellent' condition with the box color and gloss as good as new. All four corners are solid and there are no repairs. There are no price tags, tape or tape marks. Light corner wear and a tiny light stain are the only flaws. This kit features some of my favorite box artwork by Scott Eidson. Very highly detailed model includes coach, horses and figures as shown on the box art. The kit has never been started. The parts and decals are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes excellent instructions. 'Miniature Masterpieces' was formed through an alliance of Lew Glaser (Revell) and Steve Adams (Adams Action Models) in 1953. Although the molds were made at Adams and it had the appearance of an independent company, the firm was run by Revell down to the prototypes being made at the Revell plant. Originally there was no evidence of the parent company on the surface. The State Coach of England was the first kit, issued in 1953. More kits of excellent quality followed. Revell completely took over the line in 1954 and in that year and the next, kits were labeled 'Revell' with a 'Miniature Masterpiece' label on the box top also.
