Rare 1955 kit. The box is in exceptional 'Excellent+' condition with the box color and gloss as good as new. All four corners are solid and there are no repairs. There are no other tags, tape or tape marks. General light wear and corner wear are the only flaws. This kit features some of my favorite box artwork by Scott Eidson. Very highly detailed model includes coach, horses and figures as shown on the box art. Inside, the kit has never been started and is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and excellent building instructions. Although it is opened, the original factory clear plastic bag is included also. 'Miniature Masterpieces' was formed through an alliance of Lew Glaser (Revell) and Steve Adams (Adams Action Models) in 1953. Although the molds were made at Adams and it had the appearance of an independent company, the firm was run by Revell down to the prototypes being made at the Revell plant. Originally there was no evidence of the parent company on the surface. The State Coach of England was the first kit, issued in 1953. More kits of excellent quality followed. Revell completely took over the line in 1954 and in that year and the next, kits were labeled 'Revell' with a 'Miniature Masterpiece' label on the box top also.

Perhaps the finest Cadillac model ever made. Very large 1/16 scale kit of the classic V-16. Only three were ever built in this body style; Joan Crawford was one of the owners. Very highly detailed and well molded. The model builds as the real car with a full rolling chassis. Features opening doors, hood and trunk. The engine is a kit to itself, with some of the finest detail I have seen on a kit in this scale. Includes rubber radiator hoses, metal hinges, dual exhaust, optional solid or wire wheels, steerable front wheels, fold down back seat arm rest, super detailed interior, rubber tires and parts molded in black, gray, white, clear, bright chrome and satin chrome. This is a factory assembled brass snow plow with metal sprung trucks. The assembly workmanship is professional, and it was screwed and soldered together. There is no damage. The 'wings' move nicely and are spring-loaded. However, someone has painted it black. It is not heavily painted and is neatly done; you could easily strip it with a safe stripper or paint over it. The box has no markings at all.
