In the 1970s MPC released the very popular Profile Series. Inside each box was a quality Airfix kit but with special MPC decals to build any of the three aircraft shown on the box top. Well detailed kit for that time. Features many moving parts: turrets rotate and guns elevate, landing gear retracts/extends, wheels and props turn and all control surfaces move. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in 'excellent++' condition, which is rare.

1960s Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of its kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box. The model includes brilliant blue injection molded parts, clear parts, detailed chassis, complete engine, removable hood and full interior. SALE!! First issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo and 69 cent price extension on the part number. This 'Northern Lights' Rectangular logo was used for this one year only - in 1957 the oval 'Famous Fighters' Sunburst logo was launched. The box features classic early Jim Cox artwork. This kit is one of a very successful line of 1/48 WWI aircraft that Aurora launched in 1956. The line sold so well that new kits were added into the 1960s. Molded in the correct gloss olive drab green and black. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

SALE!! First issue from 1956 with square Northern Lights logo. This logo was only used for that year and was quickly replaced in 1957 with the well-known 'sunburst' oval with 'Famous Fighters' written in the border. Molded in the correct metallic deep burgundy. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. James Cox, who did much of the early artwork for Aurora, created a timeless classic for this issue - this artwork was used well into the 1960s and possibly up till the final 'Big A' logo boxes before Aurora's demise. Very large and highly detailed kit from 1979. Measures 28 inches long when assembled. Features full hull, highly detailed deck fittings, display stand, detailed rigging instructions, two weights of rigging line, metal anchor chain and much more. Molded in black, beige and brown with ivory sails. This model was originally issued by Imai and usually did not include sails. Monogram leased the molds and ran this kit in the USA for a very short time and included a very nice set of finely molded vacuform billowing sails. The sails are in rare 'near mint' condition. The model has never been started. Most parts are still in the factory sealed bags. The larger parts that were never internally sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes flags, decals, rigging material and instructions.
