Rare true first Pre-S issue from 1954. Many things distinguish this from the later Pre-S issue. First, it has the I limited-time two piece stand arm (clear plastic upright and a metal ring). This was a flawed design and quickly replaced with the three-piece stand arm. The instructions show this early arm as well. And the decal sheet is from the first one-piece box issue F7U - so Revell had to put an additional sheet in as well for the stand decal! And, the first issue kit had a nose probe. This kit contains the nose probe, although it is not in the instructions. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear and with the famous 'Globe' stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Box has significant wear as shown

Very rare kit for the advanced collector. From the 1950s. This kit was issued very shortly after the demise of O-Lin, possibly in the same year that Paul Lindberg decided to go at it alone. The part number is worthy of note (two digits) as is the one-piece box. The box is in excellent condition, which is rare because of the fragile nature. The kit has never been started and is inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. The instructions are on the back of the box. The kit is molded in a beautiful gloss light green.
