Very highly detailed and well molded kit from the 1970s. Includes many 'microwood' real wood parts. From original Bandai molds. Features detailed engine with realistic ignition wiring, full engine compartment with hoses, removable hood, full suspension, driveline and exhaust detail, steerable wheels, opened or closed front window, wood for firewall and dash, complete interior (down to the speedometer cable and individual clutch, brake and accelerator pedals and levers, two large and one small sheets of prescribed in-scale micro wood trim so that the body sides, interior and other parts of the kit can be accurately represented, opening passenger and driver doors, flexible fuel lines, headlight wiring, real wood bed, removable rear bed gates, real metal chain, choice of the three decals listed and much more. Molded in gloss green, black, light wood tan, brass plate, clear and with real rubber tires, rubber wires and cables, small metal parts and in-scale grain wood. The kit has never been started. Very rare. 1960 first and only issue. Can be motorized with the additional Monogram motorizing kit - or you can motorizing it with a small motor as full instructions are included. Large 1/8 scale kit that can be displayed in any of 6 versions. The key parts are snap-on, so you can change the appearance of the engine as you wish. The six versions are Stock (Four Barrel Carburetor, Chevrolet stock intake manifold, valve covers, exhaust manifold and distributor, Street (with Edelbrock Intake, Hedman Exhaust Headers, three Stromberg 97 Carburetors and three chrome air cleaners), Road and Track (Weiand Intake Manifold, six Stromberg 97 Carburetors, Scintilla Vertex Magneto and hetman headers), Dragstrip (Cragar Intake Manifold, GMC 4-71 Supercharger, Cragar Carburetor Adapter Plate, four barrel carburetors, Cragar Supercharger Drive Unit, Tuned Exhaust, Scintilla Magneto, finned chromed rocker covers, Cragar drive pulley and belt), Racing (Hilborn Fuel injection manifold, Intake Stacks, Scintilla Magneto, finned rocker covers and tuned exhaust), All-Out Competition (Potvin Intake Manifold, Potvin Intake Pipes, GMC 4-71 Supercharger, Potvin Pipe Adapter, Scintilla Magneto and tuned exhausts). The kit has many working features - A crank at the back of the transmission turns the crankshaft and moves the two pistons and connecting rods up and down within clear piston sleeves. The pistons are visible through a clear engine block section. Crank pulley also turns the fly wheel, pressure plate and the front drive belt, which moves the water pump and the generator. The belt also turns the GMC 4-71 Supercharger, which has moving internal vanes visible through a clear plastic cover. The transmission shifter can be moved through the 'H' pattern. The model is molded in multiple colors so that painting is not required - molded in Chevrolet Orange (red), black, silver, chrome and clear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions in 'near mint' condition and also the booklet 'Customizing The Chevrolet V-8 Automobile Engine' in 'near mint' condition.

Very high quality, precision scale cardstock models from 1965 to 1968. The amount of realistic, printed in detail is remarkable, and some (like the Mystic Seaport) include a ground base, fences, etc. The following kits are 1/120 scale: Mystic Seaport, James Fort, White House and Independence Hall. The Sanchez Adobe is 1/12 scale (one inch = one foot). All are factory sealed except Mystic and Independence Hall, which have never been started and are both inventoried complete. The Mystic kit is fascinating with a complete layout of town including 14 scale buildings, signs, fences, ground base and more.

This kit is a perfect reproduction of the original car that won 1st place at the 1907 Grand Prix de France with an average of 113.612 KPH with Felice Nazzaro as the pilot. The prototype of this car was used with the original drawings to create this model. It has 823 parts of plastic, brass, steel, leather, iron, rubber, copper, aluminum and other materials. Features include super detailed engine, opening hood, complete interior, all pilot controls, operating steering, working suspension, operating steel drive chains and more. Purchased new in 1967 in Cleveland, OH. This kit is part of Sterling's expensive big-wingspan series that was designed for R/C and also includes numerous extra parts for control line operation. Can also be flown free-flight. Very nicely produced stick-and-tissue model that features high quality die-cut balsa sheet parts, stripwood and spars, fully formed wire landing gear struts, finished wheels, other wood and metal stock as required, light plastic engine cowl, spinner, air scoop, exhaust manifolds, bomb and many other details, perfect condition vacuformed plastic canopy that is not even yellowed, rubber motor, plastic prop, a big set of decals, coving tissue and excellent full size plans with detailed instructions. Never started and inventoried complete. Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze. Although they continued to produce kits for decades after the flying model slump following World War II, they eventually fell victim to the general lack of interest in modeling that occurred in the early 1980s. I always considered Sterling kits to be deluxe kits as they had the action features and included everything needed to complete the model.

Features high quality die-cut balsa sheet parts, stripwood and spars, fully formed wire landing gear struts, finished wheels, other wood and metal stock as required, light plastic nose cowl, spinner and other details, beautiful clear vacuformed one-piece cabin window set (still mint not yellowed), rubber motor, plastic prop, a big decals sheet that includes registration, Bonanza ID trim and full side strips as shown, covering tissue and excellent full size plans with detailed instructions. Never started and complete. Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze.
