This kit is still factory sealed in the clear cello wrap but the seal has splits. Pocher made the finest automobile models ever created. The detail and working parts on these long out-of-production, big 1/8 scale kits is amazing. This kit has 1954 parts of plastic, brass, steel, leather, iron, rubber, copper and many other material. Working features include operating steering, working suspension, lights that operate from the dashboard, doors that open and close with operating door latches and handles, starting handle that operates the crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, V-belts, Fan, dynamo, etc in the engine. The convertible top operates - and much, much, more more. Recommended for experienced modelers only. NOTE: This is the desirable early version with the most realistic wheel construction. Each wheel is built just like a real spoke wheel with individual spokes and well over 100 parts. Shipping insurance (and Express Mail for international customers) is required.

Original promotional model from 1962. It is not perfect. The body is very straight and has little or no warping. The paint is glossy, but show general age when you get up close. The tires are near mint and appear to have never been played with at all. Clear is 'excellent+' but could use a cleaning. Rear bumper is intact but the chrome has significant wear. There is no front bumper on the car, but a replacement AMT 1962 Country Sedan bumper is included, and the chrome on it is mint. The box is old but NOT original.

Very rare in this condition. This is a one-owner model, obtained new in 1970 in Lexington, KY by a very discriminating collector. The box is original and is stamped "1970 AMX". The car is complete and in amazing condition; I would rate it 9.8 out of 10, with 10 being flawless. It has never been played with or rolled. The only reason I don't give it a "10" rating is that I have trouble declaring anything truly 'flawless.'
