Internal factory sealed bag including decals and instructions (on the back of the box).

1962 issue with colorful pre-war high-visibility paint in the artwork. Please note that this is the first issue of this box art because of the 'Famous Fighters' in the border of the Aurora logo. Box is in 'very good++' condition with nice color and gloss, four solid corners and no sign of price tags or tape. There is light general wear as shown. Kit features retracting pontoons and rotating props. This version has the desirable large clear two-piece 'World' triangle-base stand. Molded in gloss silver and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

NOTE: the smallest yard has 1/3 of the tip broken off and that tip is missing.

Rare early 1960s issue and harder to find than the original 1956 release. This was only made for a year or two before the new artwork release. Please note the full, original artwork (the only issue with such) due to the 'transparent' new simplified oval logo at the lower right. The side logos still have the old 'Famous Fighters' in the border. Molded in the correct gloss olive drab and black plastic and with the chock ground base and pilot & mechanic figures. Never started. Very rare first and only hardbox issue from the tie-in promotion with Twentieth Century Fox Televisions smash hit "12 O'Clock High." Dated 1965. Some of the most valuable models are linked to TV or movie promotions and the "12 O'Clock High" series from Aurora is no exception. This example has like-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape, tags or tears and zero fading. The only flaws are very slight foxing and very slight general corner wear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Other kits in the series included the B-17, P-51, Me-109 and FW-190.

Dated 1959. This is the first issue because it has the 98 price extension, the 'Famous Fighters' in the border of the oval logo and the Parents' Magazine seal at the lower left. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Rare first issue from 1956 with the one-year only rectangular Northern Lights logo. Earlier in the 1950s a company called 'Helicopters for Industry' created a line of large-scale early helicopter kits. In 1956 Aurora bought the molds and quickly reissued these models with new box artwork. This model features cockpit, spinning rotors, rotating wheels and opening doors. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear plastic. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Rare kit dated 1956. Please note that is an unusual box art variation that still has the 'Famous Fighters' oval starburst logo. Very nicely detailed kit with 1/8 scale Marine figure with sword and scabbard, optional rifle, detailed cap, display base and US Marines Insignia. Decals are included for rank. Molded in the correct dark blue. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please note that the box is graded only 'fair+' due to light fading, light stains, general wear and a closed 1.5" tape tear on the left long side.

1958 dated hardbox that is in exceptional 'Near Mint' condition. It would have graded nearly mint, but there is a '40' in black ink written on the right short side when the kit was marked down to this new price. Molded in silver and clear with full landing gear, display stand and decals for 'FB-419.' The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Around this time, Aurora issued a series of inexpensive (usually 29 cent) small scale kits that were designed to sell at almost any type of retail location. The line was successful and further expanded - when Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they fit in nicely with this established line.

1957 hardbox issue with the Parents' Magazine seal. Please note that this is an earlier issue with 'Famous Fighters' in the oval border of the Aurora logo and is has the '.29' cent price extension. This small scale kit has dramatic Jo Kotula box artwork and is nicely molded kit with clear canopy, full landing gear and display stand. This is a model of the very early YF-102 prototype with the straight (non-area rule) fuselage. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Around this time, Aurora issued a series of inexpensive (usually 29 cent) small scale kits that were designed to sell at almost any type of retail location. The line was successful and further expanded - when Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they fit in nicely with this established line.

Jo-Han 1956 Plymouth Belvedere Red Clear Tail Lights - Promo - Bagged, 1/25

Includes the two mint condition tail lights as shown. They are molded in red-tinted clear plastic. These are from the original Jo-Han molds but are likely reproductions made in the 1990s. They came with a collection of promo bodies, windshields and chrome parts. I am 99% sure that these parts will also work on the Jo-Han model kit (and not just the promo).
