This model is part of a very popular and successful line of 1/48 World War II kits that Monogram began in the early 1960s; new kits were introduced continually into the early 1980s. This kit features great fit and finish, retracting landing gear, rotating wheels & propeller, pilot, cockpit and optional drop tank. Molded in the correct silver, black and clear plastic. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Please NOTE that the box has light age spotting; it can be seen on the right side in the light yellow areas.

Limited edition with Ohka missile and a very well molded kit. Features Betty Bomber and Ohka with ground stand/parent aircraft mounting dolly, good interior and more. Includes markings for 4 aircraft and three are Ohka launchers. The fourth is one of two unique Betty's that flew to meet the Allies for surrender in 1945; these aircraft are white with large green crosses. Never started. Ex-Soviet Union kit that is very well molded for that time with very fine detail and hull drain holes. Full hull model measures 7.5 inches long when assembled and includes display stand and decals. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags, which is attached to cardstock that is folded in two. At times the factory workers had to get pretty creative because of a shortage of staples. Beyond staples, I have seen the bag of parts attached with tape, a clothing snap, a rivet or even sewn on with thread!

Still factory sealed. This is a modern reissue of the originally rare Renwal Task Force "A" and "B" Ships. Includes all of the ships listed, which Renwal originally issued in two different sets labeled "Task Force A" and "Task Force B." Renwal did an excellent job on their ship models, so these are well detailed for such a small scale. Includes an excellent decal sheet which is a big improvement over the original issues. These are full hull (not waterline) models.

This kit came from the collection of one of Monogram's finest and talented designers, the man who created the original B-52 kit, B-17, B-24J, at least one if not all of the 1/8 scale Ford cars, A-1E Skyraider and numerous other famous kits. First issue from 1967 is very finely molded and famous for it's perfect fit, finish and scale fidelity. It has never been started. The model is inventoried with all parts and photocopied instruction present. NOTE: missing decals and the instructions are high-quality photocopies. The Hawk P-36A has the dubious distinction of fighting on both sides and for more countries than any other plane in history during the opening years of WWII. This Hawk, one in a long progression of famous fighter aircraft, was the winner of a 1935 competition. The USAA Corps received the first aircraft in April of 1938 and the French ordered 100 aircraft in May of the same year. French Hawks shot down just over 30 German planes during the battle for France. The Germans captured the aircraft and sold them to Finland. Others were captured when the Germans overran Norway. In all over 800 Hawks were produced and served in China, Netherlands East Indies, Portugal, Great Britain, Thailand, Argentina and Peru. Although an excellent fighter in 1935, the Hawk was outclassed by the time the war started but when flown properly still gave a good account of itself.

The B-29 raids on the Japanese home islands caught the Army and Navy Air Forces unprepared. The S1A1 Denko and Ki-108 were far from successful at this role, so Kawasaki tried using the Ki-102 ground attack variant (derived from the Ki-96 and Ki-108) in a high altitude role. The aircraft were converted and saw service against B-29s at the end of the war, but only 238 were built. This is a well detailed model with many photoetched details. Never started.
