Older but nicely molded large-scale kit. Contains optional parts and decals for civil racer or military version. Features highly detailed engine and cockpit, three piece canopy, full size drawings and rigging diagrams and rubber or plastic tires. The military ship, PA69 was flown by Squadron Commanding Officer Willis Taylor of the 1st Pursuit Squadron and also by Charles Lindberg. When Lindberg flew this ship, his name was not put on it, likely to protect his privacy. The racer decals feature colorful numbers and striping for NX70-Y.

Very rare first issue from the early 1950s. When Aurora moved to the West Hempstead plant, they planned a series of very large scale bombers. All kits released up to this time had been small. Aurora's instincts were correct, and the B-26, B-25 and B-29 were a big sales success. This box art was done by Jim Cox and was only used for about one year, making it very rare. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear, with correct Tatem Company decals with no stand base decal and correct instructions. Decals and instructions are in excellent condition. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing rectangular stand and stand arm. Otherwise inventoried complete with all aircraft parts, decals and instructions.

First release dated 1954 in the low profile box (1" high vs. 1.5" high for later issues). Includes correct first issue globe stand with three parts (base, one piece stand arm and metal ring) instead of four. The instructions correctly show this as well. Inside, the kit has not been been touched or started. All the small parts are still in the factory 'krinkle' sealed bag. The larger parts were not sealed and are inventoried complete. The decals are flat and in exceptional 'excellent+' condition, as well as the instructions. The box is only fair and has heavy wear, stains, etc. as shown. has 'very good' color and gloss, four solid corners and no tape, tape marks, price tags or tag marks. There is light to moderate general wear and a crease on the left in the G in Boeing. The kit has never been started. Inside it is factory new with all small parts still sealed in the factory krinkle bag, and the parts that were never factory sealed are complete. With decals and instructions. This is such an early issue that it has the earliest decal sheet which has an error. There is suppose to be a triangle on each side of the fuselage near the cockpit. The original sheet has just one of these and that is this kit. Later, Revell issued it with another triangle in addition to the main sheet, but that is not present in this one.

Well detailed with scale plastic wheels, plastic propeller, vacuform nose/cowl and engine, full color decals, colored tissue, die cut balsa parts, rubber motor, plywood firewall and excellent full size plans. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Guillow's founder, Paul K. Guillow, was a WWI naval aviator. In 1926 he began producing wooden model airplane kits. His 'Shelf Models' were some of the earlier non-flying models in production. Guillow's grew during the model boom of the 1930s, and when the Depression hit the hardest, Guillow's responded with lower prices and became one of the low price leaders, frequently advertising in Model Airplane News and other leading publications. During the war, like most manufacturers, Guillow's was forced to alternative materials such as cardboard and pine. Guillow's survived the post WWII slump by creating many inexpensive profile flying rubber powered aircraft and gliders in the 1950s (along with North Pacific) which became famous - some are still available today. The stick and tissue lines have been updated with laser cut parts and are still in production as of 2009.

Long out-of-production and from the early to mid 1970s. From ex-Pyro molds. Designed from the original blueprints furnished by the American President Lines. Has markings for the Ocean Liners SS President Wilson or SS President Cleveland. These fine ships sailed to exotic Pacific ports and did at least one Round-The-World Cruise each year. At the time the kit was made, they were the only two ocean liners flying the American flag. This kit has not been started. NOTE: missing one small lifeboat. One lifeboat has two broken davits (molded with the part) but both parts are included and an easy fix. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts, 'very good++' decals, flag sheet and instructions present. Box is rough and only graded 'fair' as shown.

Large 18 inch long, 186 piece kit with realistic motorization and excellent detail for that time. Complex gears work as the real boat to turn the paddles. Never started and complete with all parts and plans/drawings. Classic Castings Limited advertised as "The Finest In Urethane Castings" and it was no idle boast back in 1990 when this kit was made. The address was 1520 Pesnell Drive, Gardendale, Alabama. They issued several kits and a large number of accessories. This list is not complete: 1/48 P-26A, Northrop A-17 Nomad, CA-12 and A-17A, radial engine blanks with 7 and 9 rows for several different engines, crank case engine fronts (5 types), 11 types of Jet Intake FOD plugs and more. They also list a 1/48 F9F and prototypes for 6 other quarter-scale aircraft as well.
