Revell Convair F-102A Delta Dagger - 'S' Issue, 1/78, H233-89

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc

$125

Original issue from 1956. Hardbox artwork has superb colors and gloss, four perfect corners, no tears or missing litho and no fading. Very light general wear and the writing in the white part of the logo are the only flaws. Molded in the correctly gloss silver and clear and with the famous Revell clear 'Globe' base. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are both in 'excellent' condition with the typical yellowing as the only real flaw.

Revell F-101A Voodoo - 'S' Issue, 1/75, H231-89

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc+++

$115

1956 'S' issue that is close to 1/72 scale and very good kit of the early single seat Voodoo. Features all recessed panel lines (at a very early date), pilot and cockpit, full landing gear, three drop tanks as shown and the clear 'Revelving' swivel base globe stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Revell F-94C Starfire Intereceptor - Pre S Issue, 1/56, H210-79

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG++

$85

1954 Pre-S release and the third issue of this historical model. Features the amazing, classic 1950s box art that has made the Pre S and S kits so valuable and collectible today. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The first issue was in the simple one-piece box and Revell quickly converted to this two-piece box as it was much more durable and a full-color lithographed 'slick' could be used. For the second issue, Revell added rivet and raised panel line detail as well as landing gear, and went to this box and H210-79 kit number. The famous 'Globe' clear stand was added, but the 2nd issue has the rare one piece stand arm and the instructions reflecting that. The 3rd issue (this kit) is identical to the 2nd issue except that the 'Globe' stand was changed to the sturdy 3 piece arm version.

Maircraft Curtiss Hawk P-6E - Solid Wood Model Airplane, 1/48, S15

Wood Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

$26

Maircraft was originally founded in the early or mid 1930s by Gordon Christoph and went by the name Aircraft Model Company. The company produced a typical line of solid 'profile cut' kits that required the usual high talent levels for carving and finishing. A former Comet Model Airplane & Supply Co. salesman, Jack Mair, bought the company in the early 1940s and renamed it Maircraft. This company was one of the handful of solid kit producers who issued models in a consistent 1/48 scale during the 1930s and 1940s (others included Hawk and Dyna-Model). This lead to one of the most desirable and rare model kits ever produced in the USA - the wood/plastic 1/48 United DC-3 model issued immediately after World War 2. Other than the P-61 and a few other Maircraft offerings, most were simple kits that sold for the low price of about 35 cents and gave the owners many hours of pleasurable work. This kit features a full size plan with instructions steps, all hardwood parts (very unusual; normally they were balsa), full color insignia sheet, 3D cut fuselage, profile cut wings and tail feathers, printwood and a small bag of sealed details. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including insignia and plans/instructions.
