Still factory sealed but there is a crunch at the lower right as shown. First issue hardbox dated 1967. After the sales slow down in the mid 1960s, Aurora realized that it must put out higher quality models to compete; this AH-1G is one of those highly improved kits. Features very fine raised surface detail, very good dual cockpits, crew of two, external ordnance, rotating main and tail rotors and more.

Still factory sealed but the seal has split on the left short side. Limited issue kit from 1988 released in promotion with the TV series 'Tour of Duty'. Very finely molded and detailed kit with traditional high Monogram quality. Features full cockpit, optional position canopy, detailed cannon bay with optional position access door, detailed gear wells, AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles and optional position speed brakes with detailed wells.

Hasegawa IJN Submarines I-361 and I-171, 1/700, WLD095

Highly detailed waterline small-scale model includes both submarines and several separately molded Kaiten. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. I-361 has a very active career as a supply sub making runs to Wake Island. In May of 1945 she is outfitted with five kaiten and sent to attack Okinawa where the US invasion fleet was. After evading American forces for several days, she was sunk on May 31, 1945 by an Avenger using sonobouys and a Mark 24 "Fido" acoustic tracking torpedo. I-171 lead a very active career from Pearl Harbor, Midway and beyond. She was diverted to supply duty and was depth charged and sunk on one such mission by DD-472 USS Guest and DD-475 USS Hudson, 1 February 1944, off Buka Island.

Airfix Avro Lancaster B.III Dam Buster, 1/72, 08004

Special 'Dam Buster' version. 1993 issue features 108 pieces and all the proper mods for the Dam Buster raid. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. This modified No. 617 Squadron aircraft includes the Wallis 'Bouncing Bomb' or mine for attacking German dams in WWII. The bomb was spun to 500 rpm, and the attack had to take place at exactly 220 mph at 60 feet above the water. The bomb would be released and would skip over the water to the dam wall, where it would roll down roughly 30 feet underwater. At this point, it would detonate. Given that water is incompressible, the blast could only go one place - through the incredibly thick concrete dam wall. As you can imagine, the raid was dangerous and 32 crew were decorated after the May 1943 mission.

1960 issue of the rare "Whip Fly" series. The box is in 'excellent' collector condition. Hardbox artwork for this series was the 'action' photos by Tom Kelly. The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete with all aircraft parts, decals, instructions, metal ring, plastic handle, square of clay, 12' of line and plastic streamers.

Monogram Panzerkampfwagen Panzer IV H With Diorama Sheet, 1/32, PM230 6859

1969 'Green Box' issue with desirable Diorama Instructions. The Panzer IV mounted one 75mm gun and two MG24 machine guns. The 'H' variant depicted here had extra armor plates hung loosely from the sides to pre-detonate hollow charge projectiles. The kit can be built with or without this additional armor. Turret rotates and gun elevates. Detailed moving flexible treads and bogeys have spring action. Cupola lid opens. Includes extra tread links, Jerry cans and helmets with two crew figures. The kit has never been started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing #30, the jack. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts including decals and instructions.

1995 Reissue from the same molds as the popular 'Four Star' kit. Features retracting landing gear, rotating wheels/props, three man crew, optional position crew door and two survivors in a life raft. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam.

Molded in silver, clear and with the big silver/gray tripod base two-piece display stand. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. One prop blade is neatly broke at the hub; the blade is included and is a straight-forward repair.

Rare model of the first commercial turboprop airliner, and it includes the rare Capital Airlines one page "The Jet Prop Viscount' advertising sheet. The box displays beautifully and is in 'Excellent' condition with as new color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape and no price tags, no fading and no litho tears. Light general wear and a very light stain on the lower part of one long side are the only flaws. Includes passenger boarding ramp and Capital airlines decals in 'excellent+' condition with light age yellowing as the only flaw. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box top would grade even higher than 'excellent++' but is graded as such because there is a very light stain on the top long side.

The Manned Nuclear Interplanetary Vehicle was designed by Krafft Ehricke of the Convair Astronautics Division. 1950s model is 18 inches long when assembled and includes a display stand. It has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, 'excellent' condition decals and instructions.

Very early issue from the 1960s with the original rectangular logo and high gloss box top. Even at this early date you can see the quality that Hasegawa has such a fine reputation for. Features all very fine raised panel lines and recessed control surface lines, multiple drop tank and Bullpup missile load-out and decals for three aircraft - USAF Okinawa, Yokota or Vietnam Camo version. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Please NOTE that the box has a stain at the right and on the right short side as well and has been neatly repaired from the inside. The tray (box bottom) has the same strain but the decals and instructions are 'near mint' with no damage.

Hardbox issue of this classic Aurora kit dated 1960. Notice the 79 cent extension, 'Sunburst' logo with no 'Famous Fighters' which makes this issue closer to about 1963/4. Molded in black and clear with the clear triangular 'globe' display stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

TMY WACO Biplane 29.5 Inch Gas Model Airplane

Wood Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG

Very rare. This is an early Japanese export kit from TMY in Tokyo, probably dating right around 1960. It was clearly intended for control line operation. The kit has a very high degree of prefabrication for that time, featuring fully cut and ready to assemble plywood fuselage bulkheads, fully cut balsa wing rigs, cut out (but final sanding required) wheels pants, tail planes and all other wood parts, strip wood, formed wire main gear strut, balloon-type main wheels and solid tail wheel, an extensive (still sealed) hardware packet, wood for sheeting, silk covering material (still sealed) and full size plans. The kit has never been started. The internal condition is exceptional; many parts are still attached to the orange factory display board with string; even more are still wrapped with the factory green tape. The kit has been inventoried complete with all parts and plans. It must be shipped insured.
