Successful German WWII helicopter design, and the first with counter-rotating intermeshing blades (in 1938). A further development of the Fl-265, flight tests showed that the Fl-282 was an excellent helicopter. Have you ever wanted to build the world's first injection molded plastic kits? Well, now you can and for an affordable price. As you know, Frog in England produced the world's first plastic model kits starting back in 1938. Merlin Models receive permission for this very limited edition, exact replica of this historic Frog Penguin kit. Nicely molded. Also includes photocopies of the original Penguin instructions. The kit has never been started and is complete with all parts and paperwork. In the late 1930s, before WWII, Frog created the world's first line of injection molded plastic model kits. Since Frog stood for 'Flies Right Off the Ground' and Frog had a famous line of flying models, the world's first all injection molded kits were called Frog Penguin for the bird that does not fly. The Penguin Hart was among the early pre-war releases by Frog.

This is kit for the serious model railroader who demands prototype fidelity. Molded in black plastic. The kit has never been started.
