1960s issue with vivid artwork. A pilot ejects on a pillar of flame as his stricken BAC plunges earthward trailing black smoke. Despite this dramatic scene, XM192 enjoyed in historical fact a long career with 111 and 145 squadrons, retiring intact in 1973 to become a ground display aircraft. Never started. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.

The YF-22 and the YF-23 were the two fighter designs chosen to compete to replace the F-15 Eagle. At the time this kit was produced, the winner was not known. At this time, we now know that the F-22 is the contract winner. Very highly detailed model. Superbly molded with all very fine recessed panel lines. Features detailed cockpit and detailed gear wells. Has decals for Prototypes #1 and #2. The model as never been started. The parts are in the factory sealed bags with decals and instructions.

Very rare. Likely from the 1940s. William H Low Co., of Braintree Mass., issued the 'Wilo Line' which featured a superb series of antique commercial firefighting equipment, all in 1/48 scale. Bill Low was the designer of all kits and he was a superb model maker. The scale is given as 1/2" and the finished 'Big City' model wagon is approximately 7 inches long without the horse hitch and ~ 13 inches long with it. The kits were very advanced for the time and shared many of the pre-fabrication methods of Hudson Miniatures. Wilo Line kits features "all parts in this kit cut to size and shape." Includes plastic injection molded spoke wheels, precut and machined large and small wooden parts, beautiful, fully finished fire extinguishers, metal stock, a sealed bag of smaller parts including a great many more fully carved wood parts, metal parts and full size plans with numerous drawings and detailed text instructions. There is even a big photo of the actual prototype. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed small-parts bags with the non-sealed parts inventoried complete including instructions/plans. The kits in this line include Amoskeag Steamer, Hose Reel, Hose Wagon, Chemical Engine and many others. In most cases they are the only kits in existence of these historic vehicles. Bill Low did design at least one 'non-fire truck' kit in his Will-O-Line - a Conestoga Wagon, advertised as being 1/24 scale, kit #B14 for $2.85 listed as "This is another Museum Piece by Bill Low." After seeing these fire truck kits, I do not doubt that.

Wilo Line kits features 'all parts in this kit cut to size and shape.' Includes plastic injection molded spoke wheels, precut and machined large and small wooden parts, beautiful, fully finished chemical tanks, metal screen, hose material, metal stock, a sealed bag of smaller parts including a great many more fully carved wood parts, cast metal parts and full size plans with numerous drawings and detailed text instructions. Wood Model Kit, Box Condition: Poor
$29
1940s flying model kit from the Golden Age of model aviation. Kit consists of stick and tissue construction and is intended to be rubber powered. Includes printwood sheets, strip wood in two sizes, completely carved main gear wheels, rough-cut balsa prop, balsa blocks, tissue, clear canopy material and metal stock for the landing gear and hardware. NOTE: one rib has been cut from the printwood sheet. No other parts have been cut out. Quality of the cut is excellent. There is no assembly. Inventoried complete with all parts and plans. NOTE: box is missing one set of end panels (inner and out flaps). The rest is there, but it suffers from age damaged, hence the 'poor' grade. The plans/instructions also suffer from age and have numerous cracks and splits. They are 95% complete, but many small chips are missing. They are certainly complete enough to build the kit.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Fair++
$195
Very rare. Early release of this kit containing 3 fuselage halves - one clear and two white. This was done since the original kit was designed with a detailed interior. Very nicely molded. With large and colorful Piedmont decals. Never started. The dark blue factory presentation cardboard is intact and the parts are still in the factory sealed bags with 'as-new' condition decals and instructions. Please note that the box top is rough and only graded 'fair++.' It has been repaired very neatly from the inside.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc+

Molded in sliver and clear with the famous Aurora clear triangle-world map stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and all plastic parts and instructions are present.
