Rare first issue from 1964. Monogram made two different Ferrari 275P models; this one is 1/24 scale and the other is 1/32 scale. This model features a one-piece upper body, one piece chassis, clear windshield and headlamp covers, chrome plated wire wheels and many other parts, rubber tires, full interior and more. Also includes optional slot car parts such as platform interior, driver's bust, stabilizer support, alternate wheels and more. (slot car chassis & motor is not included and was sold separately). Includes full decals and is molded in a bright, high-gloss red, chrome plating, clear and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts present including decals and instructions. In 1964, Monogram's complete line of slot cars included 1/32 MGA, 1/32 Deuce Roadster, 1/32 Porsche 904, 1/32 Cooper-Ford, 1/32 Ferrari GTO/LM, 1/24 '34 Ford Coupe, 1/24 '36 Ford Coupe, 1/24 55 Chevy Hardtop, 1/24 58 T-Bird, 1/24 '40 Ford Pikcup, 1/24 Duesenberg, 1/24 Mercedes 540K, 1/24 Ferrari 275P. The ones that came with the Tiger X-220 Motor and metal slot car frame had completely different box art and part numbers from the ones (like this kit) that could be converted by buying a chassis/power set.
