The Pennsylvania was in dry-dock during the December 7th Pearl Harbor attack and survived with minimal damage. She was rebuilt and saw significant action in the Pacific in WWII, steaming over 150,000 miles from 1941 to 1945. It is thought that she may have fired more ammunition than any ship in history.
