UPC Junkers Ju-88A - (ex-Lindberg), 1/58, 5061-100

Still factory sealed. Purchased on December 3, 1966 at Hobby House in Cleveland, Ohio. From Lindberg molds. Has many operating features including detailed engines with removable cowls, retracting landing gear, movable control surfaces and full crew. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.

Revell Junkers F-13W Seaplane, 1/72, 04213

Still factory sealed. The F-13 was the first all metal civil transport aircraft in the world and a major milestone in aviation. Excellent box art depicts the F-13 float version in South American where it saw service. Very nicely molded with detailed cockpit and full passenger interior, authentic corrugated structure, detailed engine, rudder for D217 or D218 versions and decals for two other variations.

Still factory sealed. 1970s reissue of the 1950s kit. Features traditional wood/tissue construction, quality printwood sheets, pre-cut balsa stringers and spars, detailed full size plans, building instructions, hardware, clear material for windows, tissue and propeller. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

Very rare large 1/16 scale T-Bird. Features detachable hard top, 312CID Thunderbird Special engine with flexible ignition wires and hoses, detailed engine compartment, opening hood, complete interior, opening doors, underside drive, suspension and exhaust detail, many optional parts for the custom version and decals for stock or custom pin stripes. Molded in white, chrome, clear, red tinted clear and with rubber tires and metal axles. The kit has never been started. Most parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags. The parts that were not (clear and one chrome tree) have been inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: due to poor packaging design, most of these kits have a broken windshield frame. This kit is no exception. It will need to be repaired but all parts are present since they are still in the factory sealed bag.
