Dated 1983 and an excellent kit for that time. Features parts to build both versions, opening canopy, removable detailed engine and folding wings. Includes a paint guide and very large decal sheet for three aircraft: No 894 Sq HMS Albion 1960, FAW53 version 805 Sq HMAS Melbourne and RAF 151 Sq Leuchars 1955. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

2015 kit from brand-new molds. Includes Eduard #73577 Photoetched Detail Set designed for this model; features two sheets of PE, colored and brass. Still factory sealed. Also includes the sealed resin parts, decals and color paint guide for four aircraft and instructions from the Fly Whitley. The actual model is superbly molded and detailed and has decals for two aircraft. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Mattel logo issue dated 1967. Very well detailed for that time. Features movable control surfaces, very good cockpit, sliding canopy, instructions for rigging and a novel action feature: when you pull the prop outward and rotate it counter clock-wise, the landing gear retracts. Rotate it clock-wise and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please NOTE that the decals have visible age cracking and one small gear is a different color; it is from another issue of the same kit.

Revell Avro Lancaster MKI S for Sugar or Q for Queenie, 1/72, H207

Mid 1960s softbox issue. The famous 'S For Sugar' flew 137 missions in WWII, more than any other Bomber Command surviving aircraft. Kit features movable control surfaces, opening bomb bay doors, retractable landing gear and full crew. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: although complete, one machine gun barrel end is broken off and the broken off part is missing.

Still factory sealed but the seal has splits on the short sides. 1973 Monogram/Mattel release of this great large-scale model. Features opening doors, full interior, removable cowling, engine detail and two hunting figures (including politically incorrect dead mountain lion). Monogram lists a cardboard diorama for use with this kit (and another for the Cessna 180). This was advertised in the old four star kit box for a short time. The display was based on the store display but with the advertising removed. If you have one of these displays, please contact me.

Williams Brothers Northrop Gamma Texaco Sky Chief or Polar Star, 1/72, 72-214

Still factory sealed. The Gamma was designed by John Northrop and was considered very advanced in 1933. The airplane was an instant success. Texaco took delivery of the first one and set numerous cross-country speed records, in addition to being a crowd favorite at air shows. Dr. Lincoln Ellsworth used a Gamma in 1935 for a successful Trans-Antarctic Flight in the 'Polar Star'. This aircraft now rests in the Smithsonian. Gammas were also flown by Howard Hughes and Jacqueline Cochran. The model is very nicely molded and detailed and can build one of two versions of the Sky Chief (Phase I or III) or one of two versions of the Polar Star (Phase I or II)and includes all optional parts required to do so including two different engines, cowlings, nose sections, two and three blade propellers, canopies, one and two seat cockpits and tail wheels as required. Includes an extensive Micro-Scale color decal sheet for two versions each of the Polar Star and Sky Chief.

Still factory sealed. From early 1960s ex-ITC Ideal molds and a very nice kit of the famous aircraft that Billy Mitchell used to sink the 'unsinkable' German Battleship Ostfriesland on July 22, 1921. The ship was defenseless during the attack, but it was the first time that an aircraft had sunk a capital ship. Optional decals are included for the three aircraft (96th Bombardment Sq / 11th Bombardment Sq / 14th Bombardment Sq During the Sinking of the Battleship 'Ostfriesland').

1955 Pre-'S' release in exceptional investment-grade 'Near Mint-' condition. Beautiful boxart has like-new gloss and color, four solid corners, no price tag or tag marks, no fading, tears, creases or missing litho, no tape (other than the factory sealing tape of course) and no repairs. The only flaws are very light, even general wear. Full hull kit with detailed deck, main 5 inch guns, anti-aircraft guns, torpedo tubes and more. It has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including all parts, decals flag sheet and instructions.

1960 Picture Fleet Revell Canada issue with framable John Steel artwork. Very well detailed for that time. Large scale kit features detailed helicopter, life boats, Captain's launch, movable gun turret, swiveling cranes, antennas and masts, full decals and color flag sheet. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals, flag sheet and instructions. NOTE several small parts are broken, but all pieces are present and fit back together perfectly so you can repair them.

First and only issue of this rare kit. 1957 hardbox with fantastic artwork and the 'S' logo on the sides. Large scale kit that is well detailed. Forward fins move and launcher works. NOTE: Box displays better than the 'VG++' grade, but was graded as such due to a very light 'Highland Hobby Shop' stamp on the box top.
