Includes a superb and extensive brass PE detail set (two frets) that was made by Microdisign in Russia. It includes two frets and is still factory sealed. The actual model kit is very large scale and highly detailed. It measures about 23 inches long when assembled. It has numerous parts and some of the best plastic billowing sails I have ever seen - they are very thin, have rigging holes and are injection molded. The plastic is just flexible enough that it will not crack and can be rigged under tension. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. From Wikipedia: Kruzenshtern or Krusenstern is a four-masted barque that was built in 1926 at Geestemnde in Bremerhaven, Germany as Padua (named after the Italian city). She was surrendered to the USSR in 1946 as war reparation and renamed after the early 19th century Baltic German explorer in Russian service, Adam Johann Krusenstern (1770-1846). She is now a Russian sail training ship. Of the four remaining Flying P-Liners, the former Padua is the only one still in use, mainly for training purposes, with her home ports in Kaliningrad (formerly Konigsberg) and Murmansk. After Sedov, another former German ship, she is the largest traditional sailing vessel still in operation.

1961 issue hardbox with the dramatic Jo Kotula artwork that made these kits so famous and collectible. Nicely molded small scale kit with full main landing gear, outrigger gear, clear canopy and auxiliary gas tanks on the outboard wings. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear with the clear 'Triangle World' stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. It is interesting to note that this kit is not a reissue of the Comet molds - this kit is original to Aurora. The Aurora kit is significantly larger that the Comet issue and varies in a great many details.

Very rare, true first issue from 1955 in the Pre-S box. The box is in 'Excellent++' condition with boxart by Richard Kishady. This is the true first issue because it includes the rare one-piece stand arm and correctly show it in the instructions also. This stand arm was weak and Revell quickly replaced it with the two-piece version. This kit features detailed cockpit and two pilots, rotating main and tail rotors, detailed engine and optional position clam-shell nose doors. Molded in the correct high-gloss dark olive drab and clear and with the famous 'New Revelving Swivel Base." Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The decals are perfectly flat, 100% intact and in 'excellent+' condition as are the instructions. Both have light age yellowing is the only flaw.

1983 issue of this classic large-scale 'Action Model' from the original 'Four Star' Monogram molds. Includes a large and extensive decal sheet that has all checkerboards for 'Contrary Mary' as pictured. Features highly detailed cockpit, opening and closing canopy, tiny levers under the wings that drop 2 bombs, and a knob under the wing that when rotated will extends and also retract the main gear and tail wheel; all gear doors (including the tail wheel doors) open and close automatically with the gear. Not only do these features sound great, but they work. My built kit (White Box issue) is ~60 years old and still functions like new. Molded in silver, black and clear plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
