In addition to her more famous role in the War with Spain, Olympia went on to active service in World War I, the Allied intervention in Russia, and as flagship in the Mediterranean, 1919. Very rare first issue from the 1950s. The paper header is in 'excellent++' condition and has like new color and gloss, no price tags, tape or tears. Well molded, small-scale waterline model that includes billowing sails, clear printed ratlines and a water display stand. Measures just over 4.5 inches in length when built. The kit has never beens started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, ratlines and instructions present. It is in the original clear bag but has been carefully opened and re-stapled.

Renwal See-Thru SSBN 618 Thomas Jefferson Polaris Nuclear Submarine, 1/200, 653-349

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc++

$265

Classic 1950s boxart at it's finest, and this is one the best examples of this kit that I have ever had. The box has like new color and gloss, four solid corners and no tape, price tags or tape/tag marks. It is superb but not mint due to light corner and edge wear as shown. Large 24 inch long kit with clear right half that is hinged to open. The Jefferson is the only Renwal submarine that has the clear hull half - all others have a gray hinged half. The clear half is in incredible 'mint' factory fresh condition. It is not yellowed and still wrapped in the original tissue paper (although I have protected it further for shipping). Heavily detailed interior and actual 'launching' Polaris missile from a spring loaded tube. The kit has never been started. Inside, it is like new. Renwal sealed the majority of the parts in a factory clear bag; that bag is still factory sealed. The few parts that were not sealed have been inventoried complete including 'very good++' decals, excellent instructions and even the Renwal factory inspection slip.

Airfix Blackburn NA 39 Buccaneer - T3 Issue, 1/72, 384

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good++

$32

Type three logo from the 1960s. The Buccaneer was the world's first purpose designed low level 'below the radar' bomber. Low level strike aircraft have a shorter airframe life limit due to the stresses of low level flying, so the Buccaneer was designed to be very strong and even had many sub-assemblies milled from solid blocks of metal. Features working unique rotating bomb bay, folding wings and working arresting hook. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: two small parts are a different color plastic; they are from the 1970s issue of the same kit.
