Classic large-scale model is dated 1970 and features detailed Pratt and Whitney R-2800 engine and removable cowling, opening canopy and complete cockpit, folding wings, clear landing lights, optional position landing gear and movable wheels and propeller. Decals are for Corsair flown by Pacific Ace Ira Kepford.

Still factory sealed. 1970s reissue from the original Pyro molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of the kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. Features detailed molded chassis and separate front and rear suspension parts and full interior.

Still factory sealed but the seal has split on the left short side panel. Hard-to-find. The ESCI F-104 cockpit is a large 1/12 scale, highly detailed kit of the entire cockpit as shown on the box art. As you can imagine, this scale allows every knob and switch to be duplicated.

Monogram Battleship BB-63 USS Missouri - Iowa Class, B4

Rare kit for the advanced Monogram collector. This was the fledgling Monogram company's fourth ship kit, issued in 1946. Measures 15.75 inches long when assembled. For it's time,this was an ambitious and detailed kit down to the AA guns, catapults, lifeboat rudders and float planes with wing tip floats. Inside, it even has the original hull-protecting cardboard sleeve. The wooden hull is beautifully pre-carved and needs final finishing only. The rest consists of four sheets of excellent printwood, cardstock for very fine parts (like aircraft wings), various other wood parts cut to shape, wood stock for gun barrels, etc., wire and full color decals. Decals, instructions and all parts are in excellent physical condition. The kit has never been started and has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Rare 1930s model of this early US Navy Blimp. The ZMC-2 (Zeppelin Metal Clad 200,000 cubic foot capacity was the only successfully operated metal-skinned airship ever built. She was built at Naval Air Station Grosse Ile by The Aircraft Development Corporation of Detroit. ZMC-2 was operated from 1929 to 1941 by the U.S. Navy at Lakehurst, New Jersey base. She was scrapped in 1941. During her service ZMC-2 completed 752 flights for 2265 hours of flight time. This model was made by C&S Model Company, Trenton, New Jersey. They had quite a line of airships as I have seen their adds in very old Model Airplane News magazines. This kit has stick and tissue construction and features printwood, stock wood parts, stringers, blocks, covering tissue and full size plans. The model has not been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and paperwork included. Please note that the plans have bug damage but they are certainly good enough to use if you wish to build the model.

NOTE: builder kit only. Please read carefully for the condition. Includes all cars and engine listed in the title. NOTE: the engine has minor assembly as noted: Cab parts R3, R4 and R5 are neatly assembled. There is no other assembly. The tank car is missing (2) of RD4 and RD5 - these are walkway parts which can be easily made from scrap wood. The box car has the decorative cardstock ends cut out and is missing one axle. The caboose is missing one coupler (which is nothing but a steel eyebolt, available at hardware stores). Otherwise the kit is complete and includes all sets of instructions and cardstock color decorations.

SALE!! Includes all three bagged, highly prefabricated wooden kits. The kits have never been started and are inventoried with all parts and plans/instructions present. NOTE: all are missing the decals. These are rare kits from the early 1950s. This series was Cavacraft's competition for Strombecker, and they are as good and often better than Strombecker's. The wingspans are all very close to 6.5 inches. All parts are completely carved and shaped from quality western pine. Features fully finished fuselage, finished wings complete with perfect airfoil, die-cut horizontal and vertical stabilizers, pre-finished wheels, and small parts cut to shape or made fraom cast metal.

Cavacraft Piper Cub J-3 - Solid Wood Aircraft Model, 1/48, S-3

Rare, highly prefabricated model with an 8.75 inch wingspan. This excellent kit is among Cavacraft's final efforts to compete in the solid model hobby. The fuselage and wing are hardwood and completely carved to shape. The quality is excellent - as good or better than Strombecker. All other airframe parts are hardwood as well and die-cut. There is a sealed was paper bag that includes fully formed and finished wheels and th other small parts. The decals include side windows, front windshield, skylight (top of the wing), fuselage 'lightning' stripes, tail registration numbers and large above and below wing registration numbers. The kit has never been started. All of the small parts and CASCO cement are still in the factory sealed wax-paper bag. The larger wooden parts were never factory sealed and have been inventoried complete. With 'excellent' condition large (and extensive) decal sheet and plans.

Cavacraft F-86 Sabre - Solid Wood Aircraft Model, 1/55, J-1

Rare. From 1951 or '52. This kit is among Cavacraft's excellent final efforts to compete in the solid model hobby, and it is as good or better than Strombecker. The fuselage and wing are completely machine cut to shape with only final sanding needed. The quality is excellent - as good as some Strombecker kits. The rudder and elevator are still in the die-cut hardwood sheet. Also includes pre-shaped wooden wheels, metal gear struts, vacuform canopy, sanding stick, sand paper, decals, full size plans and full instructions. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still in the factory sealed envelope. All other parts have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. 1985 issue as a tie-in with the famous movie. Very large 1/24 scale kit is over 19 inches long when built. Actually, this model is made from the same molds as the Phantom Huey kit from the late 1960s, except it is molded in color and excludes the non-relevant parts. The results is a wonderfully detailed kit with full interior, two pilots, full instrument panel and radios, detailed engine and transmission, opening cabin doors, and rotating main and tail rotors. Includes XM-16 armament subsystem with quad 7.62 mm machine guns with ammunition belts and two LAU 32A/A (Aero 60) rocket pods. Molded in olive drab, silver, flexible black and clear. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
