Early 1/550 scale issue with great box art. Designed for motorized operation and includes all the required hardware - metal gearbox with brass and steel gears for twin propeller drive, brass contacts, battery holders, metal shafts, universal drive, wires, twin stuffing box and even lubricant and even a neat on/off switch you activate by turning a main battery turret (As was customary at the time, Bandai did not furnish the motor with this kit). Features a working rudder that is adjustable without removing the hull, one-piece hull and very good detail. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes flag sheet and instructions. Please NOTE that the box displays 'very good' but is only rated 'good' because there is black paint on the lower long box side.

Still factory sealed. Great builder kit dated 1991 and made from the original Aurora molds. In 1977 Monogram purchased the Aurora molds and only reissued the best and most commercially viable models. This monster and others were issued in the early 1990s, probably after re-negotiating the license agreement with Universal (as hinted to on the box side). Molded in a stunning glow-in-the-dark plastic and also glows with a black light.

Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.
