The box art shows an aircraft from the Essex. The paint guide shows this aircraft and two others, but decals were not furnished by Nichimo for the Essex aircraft - Just the Yorktown Midway aircraft. The kit is actually a near-copy of the Monogram SBD with engineering changes for motorized propeller drive, operating dive brakes, trigger released center bomb, retracting/extending landing gear, rear machine gun elevates and rotates. Also includes figures of the armorer, LSO (landing signal officer), 2 bombs, bomb cart, and LSO wind screen. Never started. KVZ Tupolev Tu-134 Interflug Crusty, 1/100

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Fair-

Sold

Rare kit of this Soviet Transport nicknamed 'Crusty' by NATO. The Tu-134 is a design similar to the DC-9 and has seen widespread and successful service. It is perhaps most famous (or infamous) for the death of Mozambican president in 1986. The Tu-134 was a gift from the Soviets. When returning from the meeting, the aircraft crashed into mountains inside South Africa. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. KVZ was a Eastern German manufacturer of kits during the Cold War. They made a fascinating range of civil and military subjects. If it were not for their efforts, there would be many 'Iron Curtain' subjects (especially civil) that we would never have injection molded kits of.

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed Exc

Sold

Still factory sealed. Great builder kit dated 1991 and made from the original Aurora molds. In 1977 Monogram purchased the Aurora molds and only reissued the best and most commercially viable models. This monster and others were issued in the early 1990s, probably after re-negotiating the license agreement with Universal (as hinted to on the box side). Molded in a stunning glow-in-the-dark plastic and also glows in a black light.
