This 1986 issue contains two tank kits and a large diorama base with street and building ruins. Both tanks are very well molded and parts of the famous Matchbox 1/76 scale armor series. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. It is a little known fact that these early French tanks were superior on the battlefield to the early German Tanks; the French actually won the first modern tank battles of WWII in the low countries. There is a full color, multi-view painting guide on the back of the box and inside are decals for Char B.1 Belgium 14th-16th May 1940 and Renault FT17 with 37mm cannon or Char B.1 France December 1939/40 and Renault FT17 with 8mm Hotchkiss MG.

Still factory sealed. The Heyford was the last big biplane bomber to serve with the RAF and equipped 11 First-Line Squadrons at the time. The prototype first few in 1930 and had many novel features such as retractable ventral turret and the wing attached to the underside of the top wing for excellent visibility. It was soon nicknamed 'Express Bomber' due to it's ability to carry a large bomb load, fly at high speeds and be rapidly re-armed, serviced and repaired. Has parts and decals for all three variants from 102(B) RAF Sq. 1938, No. 99 Sq 1934 and No. 7(B) Sq. 1935.

This large scale model dated 1987 and is from the original 1950s molds. Features fine raised surface detail, counter-rotating propellers, pilot figure and boarding ladder. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Convair VTO was a Navy program for a high performance zero-length take off fighter. The aircraft flew well but transition from vertical/horizontal and back was tricky. This, combined with the performance of the new jets signaled the end of the program in 1955.

Mid-1960s issue with great Ray Gaedke box artwork. This was a fine kit for that time and features very fine raised panel lines, recessed NACA inlets, vents and control surface outlines, retractable landing gear, opening canopy and missiles that actually launch from the central pod. NOTE: this kit has very minor and 'professional' assembly to two parts: missile firing rod and tiny pin are assembled. There is no other assembly. Inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) of two tiny wheel hub retainers. This is a simple 'pin' shape and can be easily made. Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes decals and instructions.

1969 two-piece box issue utilizing the original Ray Gaedke artwork from the 1950s issue. This very nicely molded kit features pilot, basic cockpit, good engine detail, rotating propeller and wheels and even rigging photos for spreader bars and wire placements. Never started. The actual airplane is inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions but NOTE: the stand is missing the short length of aluminum wire. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'.
