Very rare. Strombecker issued a series of exotic space craft from Convair designer Krafft Ehricke and the Disney 'Man in Space' series between 1954 and 1956. This is the one that has not been reissued, making it hard to find. Large and interesting model. Box art is titled 'The Dark Side Of The Moon'. Never started. Lindberg Nautilus Atomic Submarine, 704

Rare first issue hardbox with script Lindberg logo. In the 1930s, Paul Lindberg was designing, building and flying stick and tissue aircraft like so many other men and boys of the time. His plans appear in Popular Aviation magazine and he made a good name for himself. When injection molding showed the way to increased kits sales in the late 1940s/early 1950s, he quickly teamed up with Mr. Olsen to create 'O-lin' models. Ray Gaedke was one the early artists for O-lin. In the early 1950s Paul Lindberg had control and had his name as the logo. The first logo is the one on this kit - 'Lindberg' in script with 'Products' arched across the top and 'Incorporated' arched across the bottom to create a broken circle around the script. Ray Gaedke continued his bold and colorful artwork for Lindberg, such as the box painting for the Nautilus here. The Nautilus appears to be the first sea vessel that Lindberg cut it's own molds for - the Chris Craft Express Cruiser, PT Boat, LST and Fleet Submarine (Ex-Varney) were done by O-lin. The model is an interesting work of fact and fiction - it includes a deck gun and what looks like a Regulus II missile for the deck! The scale is not known but it measures about 12 inches long when assembled. The model has never been started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Very large HO scale White House from the early to mid 1960s. Excellent detail and molded in two colors. Includes fold out poster "The Presidents of the United States" , a sheet on "How to paint your Presidents", paint, the USA Flag and metal chain for the front hanging light. All figures are present, although there are 35 presidents. The poster inside shows 34 and they are all present. This was a mistake in the marking of the box, but the poster shows the correct 34. In fact their are 35 total figures - one of Jackie-O, the First Lady when the kit was made. Never built. Inventoried complete with all parts, paints and paperwork. NOTE: Jackie-O has one arm broken off and missing.
