This is the first issue of this classic kit. Dated 1970. Perhaps the highest quality kit available of the Apollo 11 moon landing scene. Rare kit includes LEM, moon base, solar wind detector, seismometer, flag, astronauts, laser reflector, stereo camera and TV Camera. As this is the first issue, it contains some items not included in later issues. It has a gray molded base with factory airbrush painted black shadows, yellow tinted windows, gold foil a color booklet detailing the "First Lunar Landing". The booklet is an excellent detailing guide for the kit as there are many color photos of the LEM and equipment. The astronauts have tiny amounts of paint on them mainly on the hands and feet. The life support packs were glued on but fell off neatly due to the tiny amount of glue that was used. There is no other painting or assembly. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, instructions, yellow windows, special base, booklet and gold foil.

Esoteric Boeing F3B-1 Fighter 3, 1/72, NAF-12

The F3B was a complete redesign of the less successful F2B-1. F3Bs began to replace F2Bs only a few months. The US Navy ordered 74 F3Bs and they served from 1928 till 1931. The aircraft was very popular with crews, so it continued in use for many years after it left squadron service. While flying as a 'hack' aircraft, they acquired wheel pants and Townend cowl ring - these parts are also included in the kit. Esoteric was known for production perhaps the finest vacuform kits. The mold quality is higher than most injection molded kits. Every part needed to complete the kit is included - down to the interior. Very well molded and highly detailed with metal parts - decals - shaped struts and full instructions. Never started and 100% complete.
