Rare late Revell gift set from 1967. Includes the DR-1 with the Red Baron's markings, Captain Roy Brown's Sopwith Camel and a unique French Spad XIII with decals not found in any other release. The kits are the large 1/28 scale and highly detailed with complete cockpits and engines, removable cowl panels and full rigging instructions. The models have never been started. The DR-1 and Camel are still in the factory sealed bag. The Spad bag has been opened but it is inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. 1973 issue of the classic 1960s "Four Star" model. The kit has several unique action features: when you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Also has movable control surfaces, detailed cockpit, sliding canopy, full decals, bracing material and instructions for rigging.

Very highly detailed kit including working treads, some interior detail, opening hatches and covers and more. NOTE: the kit has minor assembly. Two breeches, one breech lock and two barrel halves have been assembled. Quality of assembly is excellent - there are no gaps and no glue showing. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The Ontos was a unique vehicle. Ontos is a Greek word for 'The Thing' and the vehicles lives up to that. Developed along a new concept in mobile warfare, the Ontos has little defense other than movement but a very powerful offensive punch. It carries six 106mm recoilless rifles and .50 caliber spotting rifles. The firing sequence went like this: the crew of three would get out and hand-load the six large guns. Then the Ontos would quickly move towards the target. Once sited, the gunner would fire the .50 caliber spotting rifle. This gun fired a different cartridge, a special low velocity round that matched the trajectory of the 106mm. The spotting round was very accurate and made a visible flash on striking the target. Then he could fire a full salvo of 6 or in steps of two. The 8.5 ton vehicle would then speed away, moving to a safe location to reload.

Air Lines kits are all Frog molds that the Lines Brothers imported to the USA between 1964-1966. The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo. Some kits contain a Testors color painting guide also, but it is not specific to any model.
