Large and very highly detailed multi-media model. Contains plastic, metal and rubber parts. Features working lights, engine was designed to be motorized (the Mabuchi 130 electric motor was not furnished by Nichimo), working expansion and contraction struts, real rubber tires, super detailed instrument panel and full interior. Engine detail is incredible and the motor is a kit itself. Each cylinder head is 31 parts - 30 of which are metal cooling fins. The engine alone is over 150 parts not including the firewall and detail there. Mold quality is very high; firewall detail is complete as in the actual aircraft. Five scale, positionable figures are included. Beautiful decals are included to reproduce the detailed two-tone blue striping on the box art. The kit has never been started. All parts are still in the factory bags. Includes instructions and decals in as-new condition.

Nicely detailed full hull kit that measures over 22 inches long when assembled. Features updated island structure, Sea Sparrow launchers, three Phalanx close in weapon systems and airwing of F-14, A-6, EA-6B, F/A-18 and S-3 Aircraft and SH-3 Seaking helicopters. The large decal sheet includes extensive deck markings and aircraft decals. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including decals and instructions.

Hillcrest 1910 Curtiss Pusher Model A, 1/48

Old and rare kit from the 1950s. When most kits were wood, Hillcrest has to put "Prefabricated Parts" on the cover to distinguish it from other models of the time. The kit has injection molded main parts in the frame of the actual aircraft. The small cello bag is still sealed and contains cast metal details such as the engine and tank and the clear molded wheel disks. The framework is to be covered in tissue which is supplied. The instructions have a very nice three view drawing, parts diagram and written instructions. The Curtiss Pusher Model A was designed and flown by Glenn Curtiss and made a record-breaking flight from Albany to New York. For millions of New Yorkers, it was the first aircraft that they ever saw. The large 100 hp V-8 engine allowed it to win and set a new world speed record at the first French International Air Meet. Additionally, it was the first airplane to land and take off from a Navy carrier. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts and instructions.

Rare kit from 1969. Large and completely transparent kit has full internal detail with fuselage framing, cockpit and engine. Fuselage is 20 inches long; rotors are almost 2 feet in diameter. Motor turns main and tail rotors with the batteries hid in the base. Sound unit makes "chop-chop" sound. 184 parts in 6 colors. The clear fuselage halves have no breaks or cracks, they are mint. The kit has never been started and has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions and inner packing cardboard.
