This is one of a wonderful and extensive line of 1/48 car kits from Renwal. Dates from the 1960s. Ideal for use in 1/48 dioramas with aircraft, armor or for O Scale train layouts. Renwal did an excellent job on engineering and detail. Features a one piece main upper body, one piece lower body with fenders, complete interior, plated bumpers, grill and other plated parts as required, separately molded front axle/suspension and rear axle/drive shaft, clear windows, separately molded headlights with clear lenses, rubber tires and a base with a clear display cover. Molded in high gloss green, chrome, black, gray, clear and with rubber tires.

1953 early issue from the 'Foreign Car Models' collection molded in ivory plastic. The kit has not been started. It is still internally sealed in the factory 'crinkle' bag with the instructions. Before the 1950s 'model building' never made the top 10 list of boy's activities. Hobbies were nothing new to America in the 1930s/40s, but they were not mainstream. Shortly after the turn of the century, many dedicated modelers built flying or static airplanes, ship, train, automotive or other subjects. Basic kits existed, but the majority of these models were built from scratch, which demanded a high talent level developed from years of experience. That changed in the early 1950s. The phenomenon of the Revell/Gowland & Gowland 'Highway Pioneers' car kits was a significant force in proving that model building as a hobby could have mass appeal, provided that the kits were easy enough to build and finish. These 1/32 scale vehicles could be built in an hour after dinner and looked much like the real car. The Highway Pioneers series lead to the production of other subjects in plastic and the effect was revolutionary. By the early 1960s, model building was the #1 past time of American boys.

First flown in 1933, the Condor II was metal and wood construction and powered by two Wright Cyclone engines. They entered regular and night service with Eastern Air Transport and American Airlines as 12-passenger luxury night sleeper transports. The military purchased two with the designation YC-30. Eight bomber variants were built as BT-32 and the CT-32 cargo variant was exported to Argentina. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Vacuform kit with some metal parts. Good moldings with some recessed detail. This kit has not been started and has been inventoried complete with all parts. Not recommended for builders who are not experienced with vacuform kits. The Ju-352 was similar to the Ju-252. It was designed as a transport using non-strategic materials. The result was an aircraft better than the Ju-52 but not superior to the '252. The aircraft had a large drive-on loading ramp on the back. KG 200 got all of the Ju-352s. At least one was captured by Soviet forces and Stalin used one for his personal aircraft. About 45 were built total before the war caused the project to be abandoned.

First issue of this legendary kit. 1968 model includes realistic electric 'Jet Sound'. Contains 207 parts. Very nicely detailed. Features crew of three, detailed cockpit, elevating and traversing rear turret, opening and closing bomb bay doors, operating wing flaps, operating spoilers, optional position entry hatch and landing gear, and optional parts to display one nacelle open to show the jet engine. Inside, the kit is the correct gloss green. The internal cardboard insert is gone but the kit has never been assembled and has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, motor, motor hardware, instructions, B-52 booklet and decals.
