From the late 1950s or early 1960s. Classic large (24" long) Cold War SSBN kit that actual fires Polaris Missiles from the hull launch tubes. Starboard hull halve hinges down to reveal full interior detail for each compartment. Highly detailed and well molded including crew members. The factory parts bag is still factory sealed. All other parts have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. The box would grade higher than 'very good' but there are tape tears on both long sides.

Very rare first and only Motorized Issue of the Coral Sea. Dated 1960. This is the static model with internal modifications for motorized running. You could build it static by leaving out the motorizing parts. Features stuffing boxes and dual shaft/dual propeller drive through a reduction gearbox. Furnished with electric motor, metal contacts and on/off switch. Uses two 'C' batteries. Nicely molded full hull kit with rudder and propeller details, positionable elevators, 3 and 5 inch AA guns, boats and boat cranes, mobile aircraft deck crane and tugs, detailed island and an airwing of 26 aircraft - 2 Skyraiders, 6 Corsairs, 16 Cougars and 2 helicopters. The kit has never been started. The motorized parts are all still factory sealed, the other parts have been inventoried complete. The instructions have bug damage on two steps but are readable. The factory decals are missing but have been replaced with the far superior Starfighter decal sheet for this ship. The two large sheets feature extensive flight deck and island markings and for Airwing 8 and even has markings for Marines VMF-112 'Candystripers'.

First issue 'Four Star' kit dated 1960. This airplane is a civil F3F that was flown for Gulf Oil by the famous stunt pilot Al Williams. The kit has several action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals including striping, sliding canopy, rigging material and instructions for rigging and is molded in clear, orange and silver. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and excellent decals and instructions. Box has significant wear as shown and is missing the inner cardboard display. Decal and instructions are 'exc'.

Still factory sealed but the seal has one split. 1985 issue. Very large 1/24 scale kit is over 19 inches long when built. Actually, this model is made from the same molds as the Phantom Huey kit from the late 1960s, except it is molded in color and excludes the non-relevant parts. The results is a wonderfully detailed kit with full interior, two pilots, full instrument panel and radios, detailed engine and transmission, opening cabin doors, and rotating main and tail rotors. Includes XM-16 armament subsystem with quad 7.62 mm machine guns with ammunition belts and two LAU 32A/A (Aero 60) rocket pods. Molded in olive drab, silver and clear.

The Kongo class was the last Japanese Battleships to be build outside Japan and Japan's first modern Battleships. The Kirishima was launched in 1915. She took part in the Pearl Harbor raid. Off Guadalcanal she was damaged by the USS Washington and light forces and was scuttled to keep her from falling into enemy hands. 1/700 scale waterline kit. Very highly detailed and finely molded. All trees are still sealed in factory bags. Complete with instructions and decals (if furnished).

The ultimate release of the classic Revell Cutty Sark kit. Rare limited edition from 1978. Features factory painted antique copper hull (below the waterline), genuine Mahogany wood base, brass plated pedestals and realistic Cloth-Like Flocked Sails. Highly detailed kit with full standing and running rigging instructions, pre-formed rat lines, complete rigging materials, metal chain, large scale signal flag sheet and much more. The factory painted copper hull is still in excellent condition. Sails are in excellent condition since in this kit they are below a special cardboard protector. This model builds to 36 inches long and makes a very impressive display when complete. NOTE: a 3/8 wide section of one inner hull has been neatly painted the correct white color. There is no other painting and no assembly. The kit is complete. All brown parts and rigging/chain are in factory sealed bags. The white parts are not sealed and have been inventoried 100% complete. Includes decals and instructions. The box has had restoration work done. There was discoloration on the right top section - it has been repaired with a color photocopy. I would grade it 'good' overall now.

Nice 1/144 scale kit of the world's first jet airliner. Features clear side and cockpit windows, very fine raised panel lines and recessed control surface lines, detailed optional position undercarriage and passenger boarding stairs. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing decals and one (of 10) clear side window parts. Inventoried with all other parts including instructions. The initial Comet Is were in operation long before the 707, which gave the British an incredible post-war lead in the expanding civil aviation market. Just as the Comet was flying high and orders were pouring in from around the world, Comets began to mysteriously fall out of the sky. Everything from lighting to terrorist bombs were blamed. For months the root cause went undiscovered. Then, in a landmark investigation that is considered the first modern post-crash autopsy, it was discovered that the stresses around a small ADF window on the top of the fuselage were causing metal fatigue failure when the fuselage was pressurized. To confirm this, a Comet I was placed in a water tank and subjected to pressurization stresses. After some time, a dramatic failure occurred. Then parts of a crashed Comet were pulled from underwater proving once and for all that this was the root cause.
