Very rare near 1/48 scale kit. The box is excellent with great color and gloss and four solid corners. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The S-62 was Sikorsky's improved S-55 / H-19.

Four prototypes were built of the Sparrow, which was designed to combat high flying Zeppelin raiders in WWI. The RNAS flew the aircraft in trials and it was found unsatisfactory. With other more promising designs in an advanced state, the project was terminated and the aircraft scrapped. Very high quality vac kit. Finely molded. Includes airfoil strut stock. This kit has not been started and has been inventoried complete with all parts. Not recommended for builders who are not experienced with vacuform kits.

Basic vacuform kit of this unique subject. The S.4 was the first in a line of racing seaplanes that led to the famous Spitfire. The S.4 was first flown on September 25, 1925 and achieved a World Speed Record of 226.9 MPH. She was one of three seaplanes that made up the British team for the Schneider Trophy race of 1915, but she was destroyed during the last team test flight before the race. This kit has not been started and has been inventoried complete with all parts. Not recommended for builders who are not experienced with vacuform kits.

1960s Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box. The model includes colored and clear injection molded parts, spoked wheels, detailed chassis, complete interior and rear mount spare tire. Ideal for slot car conversion. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions present.
