Revell Air Racers! Clay Lacy's P-51D Mustang & P-39 Airacobra Racer and Diorama, 1/72, H664

1976 issue. In that year, Revell issued three kits in this series, numbered H664, H665 and H666. Each contained two aircraft and a color diorama base, backdrop and special stand. If you have all three kits, the three bases fit together to make a large Air Show diorama with all six aircraft. The model has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed but the seal is split along one side at the bottom. Very rare model from 1986. Large and very highly detailed kit. Simply add your own readily-available 1/144 shuttle kit and you have a complete Kennedy Space Center Diorama. Features detailed tower structure, fixed service structure with 12 work levels, lightning mast, movable access arms for the support systems, movable access arm with the 'White Room' for the crew, rotating hammerhead crane, retractable rotating service structure, payload changeout room, authentic decals and more.

1957 first issue 'S' kit. The box top has like-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no fading, no tape (not even the factory sealing tape), no fading, stains, tears, creases or missing litho. Very light shelf wear (as shown)is the only flaw. Large scale, detailed model features movable propeller, wheels & control stick, detailed engine, removable cowling, complete cockpit, complete rigging instructions and three crew members. Molded in the correct red. Never started. The parts and all paperwork are still in the internal factory sealed bags. Literally everything inside is factory sealed.

Revell IL-38 Bison Russian Bomber - 'S' Issue, 1/169, H235-98

First issue of this rare model. The "S" hardbox is dated 1956 and has factory-new gloss and color, four solid corners, no tape or tape marks (at all - this box even escaped the factory sealing machine), no fading or creases, no torn litho and no stains. The flaws are light edge wear and general wear. Molded in the correct gloss dark green and clear with clear 'Revelving' Globe stand. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The decals and instructions are both in amazing 'near mint' condition.

Very rare hardbox from 1961 that includes both Master Modeler and Air Power logos. Special contents of this issue includes two large, full color trading cards (B-47 and KC-135), a colorful Master Modelers Stamp of this B-36 and even a miniature 1962 Revell Kit Catalog. The aircraft model inside is from the original 1950s Pre-S molds. Molded in silver and clear plastic. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Revell US Army Tactical Missiles Little John and Dart with Launchers 'S' Kit, 1/40, H1812

First issue from 1958 with classic and very collectible 'S' issue artwork. Little John was a light-weight free-flight rocket that was highly mobile. It could be pulled on it's launcher or transported by helicopter. The length was 12 feet long and the warhead was atomic. The Dart was a very early wire guided anti-tank missile with a solid propellant rocket motor. It was five feet long and used an optical range finder was used for guidance. These models are well detailed. The Dart includes four missiles, one launcher, three stands, decals, one optical guidance unit and a crew of three. The Little John includes a detailed launcher with elevating rails, movable support legs, decals and crew of three. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. Revell's AHM issue from the original high-quality 'S' molds. This is the famous ship of Project Hope, which was financed by private citizens and US Industry. The ex-Navy Hospital ship was equipped with the latest technology and a staff of 6 doctors, nurses and technicians. They toured the world, treating disease and training doctors in the latest developments in medical science.

Revell Douglas Thor/Thor-Able Missile - with Truck and Trailer 'S' Issue, 1/110, H1823-129

Rare. This 1958 'S' hardbox release is the only single issue of this kit. Features elevating missile trailer, four figures, movable fuel boom, fuel truck and trailer, launch pad/blast shield/missile supports, launcher base and more. Includes optional parts and decals for making the Thor-Able version. Molded in correct white and dark blue. NOTE: this kit has very minor and neatly done assembly to 3 pieces: missile halves and fin assembly are built to 'excellent' quality. There is no other assembly. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one tire. Otherwise complete with all other parts, decals and instructions. Decals are both in 'excellent++' condition. Instructions are 'good.'

Pre 'S' first issue dated 1955, which is considered the 'Golden Age' of box artwork. From this superb example it is easy to see why the 'S' and Pre-'S' kits are so collectible. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Revell Convair F-106A Delta Dart Whip Fly with Whistle and Streamers, 1/67, H159-129

Very rare 1961 issue in the Whip-Fly 'Master Modeler' series. Model even includes the F-106 trading stamp and Master Modeler application form. This issue is based on the 1950s F-106 "S" kit. The Delta Dart Whip Fly comes with USAF decals, flight ballast, handle, 12 feet of control line, control ring, colorful streamers for the jet engine and a underside pod which is a in-flight whistle! Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The short-lived Whip-Fly series seemed like a good idea...at first. It was quickly discontinued when Revell discovered that heavily weighted models with sharply pointed noses rotating in a 24 foot diameter circle at very high speeds might not be safe.

Revell Sikorsky HH-3E Jolly Green Giant - Brazil Issue, 1/72, H144

1970s Kikoler Revell of Brazil issue features movable rotors, hinged cargo ramp, refueling probe and crew. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the box looks slightly better than the 'fair minus' rating. However, it is rated that low because are multiple tears on the side panels and a 2x1 inch section of the upper long side panel is missing.

1995 reissue of the original 1950s 'S' kit from the same molds. It is a great model of one of the USA's early successful ballistic missiles and an ideal builder. Features launching pad, mobile radar van, testing unit and crew of three. The kit has never been started. Rare and even more so in this condition. The box is in investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition with perfect color and gloss, no creases, no rips, fading or stains, no missing litho, no price tags or tag marks, four solid corners, no repairs and no tape or tape marks (other than the factory sealing tape, of course). The only flaws are several tiny spots of light wear. This 1958 "S" hardbox release is the only single issue of this kit. Features elevating missile trailer, four figures, movable fuel boom, fuel truck and trailer, launch pad/blast shield/missile supports, launcher base and more. Includes optional parts are decals for making the Thor-Able version. Molded in correct white and dark blue. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Decals are 'near mint' and perfectly flat, with the only flaw being slight yellowing. The instructions are also 'near mint' and almost completely white (very little yellowing).

Revell British Canberra Bomber Whip-Fly, 1/81, H157-129

Rare kit from 1961 that also includes the Master Modeler Collectors Stamp and Club application form. The fantastic artwork of an RAF Canberra flying over 'The Rock' was originally painted by Akimoto. The Whip-Fly issue is based on the 1950s B-57 "S" kit and comes with RAF decals, flight ballast, handle, 12 feet of control line, control ring, colorful streamers for the jet engines and a underside pod which is a in-flight whistle! Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The complete Whip-Fly series included are H151 F9F-8 Cougar, H152 F-84F, H153 F-89D Scorpion, H154 F8U-1 Crusader, H155 F-39 Airacobra, H156 F-101A Voodoo, Canberra, F-106 and Yak-25 Flashlight. The Whip-Fly series seemed like a good idea...at first. Revell quickly realized that spinning heavily-ballasted, sharp objects at dizzying speeds in or outside the home near groups of children was potentially unsafe. The series was quickly discontinued.
