Rare original issue in exceptional condition. Includes two decal sheets - one for the normal model and another for the 'Official Pace Car' with door lettering and stripes for the hood and trunk. Decals are excellent. The box is 'very good++' with nice color, four solid corners and no tape or price tags. The only damage is light wear and creasing as shown. Inside, the kit has never been started and is like new. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed (chrome and clear) have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. Molded in white, clear, red-tint clear, chrome and with rubber tires. New in the box and rare in this condition. It has never been run, cleaned or polished. The engine is 'free.' I can find no evidence of use. However, the prop nut has wear, so it has had a prop fitted to it at some point, which means it was probably put in a model that never flew. Serial number is 44252, and the box has this number hand-written in the proper blank spot by the factory inspector 'WB' who hand initialed it. Includes the box in 'very good' complete condition, one ignition wire, Ohlsson & Rice Manual in excellent condition, 1945 Parts List in excellent condition and Ohlsson & Rice Guarantee Card in near mint condition. There is no coil or condenser.

Very rare, especially when found in new in the box. From the late 1940s or early 1950s. The box in in 'very good++' condition. General wear is the only flaw. The display box folds very nicely so you can show it either way. It has never been flown. It is designed for a McCoy 29 size engine (not included). NOTE: this kit has very minor assembly. Final fitting and trimming was done to the wooden center spar and the bell crank was fit to the spar. Quality of work is 'excellent' and the spar fits perfectly now. There has been no other assembly. The model has been inventoried with all airplane parts present, the Duro-Matic booklet 'Speed Tips", large fold-out plans/instructions and additional fuel tank instructions. NOTE: missing decal. This kit must be shipped insured.

In the 1950s Comet made a beautiful line of small scale aircraft and missile models with colorful boxes. When Comet went out of business, these molds saw action for years with Aurora. This is the one-piece flip up box of the 'Stratotanker' - not really a tanker model at all, but a nice kit of the famous Dash-80 Prototype 707, the worlds first commercially-successful airliner. Well molded with fine recessed panel lines in 'In-Flight' configuration with stand and prototype decals. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
