Good but outdated Dutch Fighter from WWII. The D-21 saw some initial success during the German invasion of the Low Countries, but was overwhelmed by the Luftwaffe. Typical high quality Frog molds with fine panel lines and no rivet detail for a realistic 1/72 scale model. Rotating prop and wheels, with separate ailerons, elevators and rudder that can be fixed in any position you wish. Never started. Factory sealed bag or 100% inventoried with all parts/decals and instructions present.

1972 Revell Japan issue. Well molded kit. Has decals for an aircraft operated by the 3rd Chutai of the 53rd Sentai based at Matsudo airfield in December, 1944. Originally designed as a fighter, the Toryu (Dragon Slayer) was used to oppose B-29 raids. Never started. Factory sealed bags with decals and instructions.

The clear canopy is as new and not yellowed; it is still on the protective form that it was shipped on. NOTE: professional work has been done on this kit. The fuselage has been cut out and professionally fit. The wings, main and tip floats, stabilizer and cowl have been pro fitted and assembled. For those who know, this is an incredible time saver when done right - and this has been done right. Inventoried complete with all parts and plans/instructions. From 1957. Jo Kotula artwork box top is in investment grade 'near mint' condition. Color and gloss are as new, all four corners are solid, no creases, no tape marks other than the factory tape on the sides, no litho damage, staining or fading. Very, very light edge wear is the only flaw. This is the first issue of this kit - please note 69 cent price extension and 'Famous Fighters' in the sunburst logo. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. This is part of the famous Aurora WWI series of 1/48 scale aircraft. The series began in 1956 and Aurora added new kits into the early 1960s. The line proved incredibly popular, so these kits were included in the 'mold upgrade' in the 1970s before Aurora went out of business.
