1966 hardbox issue with wonderful Jack Leynnwood box artwork. The box is in exceptional 'NM+' condition. The kit is from the original 'S' kit molds. Like most of Revell's older ship models, this one is nicely molded and well detailed. Features rotating turrets/elevating guns, helicopter pad with helicopter and full rigging instructions. Molded in correct white, wood brown, and butterscotch. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The 269' U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eastwind, a Polar Class Icebreaker was commissioned on June 3, 1944. This cutter served in the North Atlantic during World War II, and on ice breaking in the Arctic and Antarctic. She was decommissioned in 1968.
