Very large scale kit of this popular subject. Features machine-carved hardwood hull which is very close to the final shape, all other hardwood and metal stock as required, a very extensive fittings set of Britannia metal, brass and photoetched detail parts. These numerous fittings are all still factory sealed. The plans are full size with side elevation and overhead views and are 'excellent' - additionally there are text instructions. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed (all fittings) are still in the sealed bags. There is a third tree, probably from another set. It includes numerous guns, missiles, etc but has no airplane or helicopter. Very nicely molded resin waterline kit with very good detail. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes illustrated instructions. This ship was named after the city of Sevastopol, built by Galerniy Yard, St. Petersburg, laid down in 1892, launched in June 1895. She was commissioned in 1897 and was based at Port Arthur. She fought in the Battle of the Yellow Sea, but failed to escape and was scuttled during the Siege of Port Arthur. the Japanese did not salvage her because she was too badly damaged and scuttled in deep water.
