The parts are still factory sealed in the original 'krinkle' bag and includes instructions. 'Miniature Masterpieces' was formed through an alliance of Lew Glaser (Revell) and Steve Adams (Adams Action Models) in 1953. However, there was no evidence of the parent company on the surface. The State Coach of England was the first kit, issued in 1953. More kits of excellent quality followed. Revell completely took over the line in 1954, making the one-year original issues very rare.

This is a full size model is an exact copy of an actual early American pistol that was handmade in the year 1787 by an unknown gunsmith in the vicinity of Lancaster, PA. Most flintlock pistols of this period were carried by US Army officers on horseback. These weapons were unreliable and hard to reload, so they were designed with a heavy stock. After firing it made for a handy club. Molded in woodgrain and gun metal silver. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including instructions.
